Ngl I don’t think Teardrops BFDI elimination was unfair at all. Really what did Teardrop do in BFDI? I’m assuming Cary and Michael didn’t know how to write interesting mute characters so she was kinda boring. Compared to Snowball who was an oblivious jerk that had friendships and rivalries while also making his team win from time to time(also he was very funny) so when deciding to keep a boring character over an entertaining one they obviously chose the latter
their bfdia elimination was kinda for the greater good if coiny was last then bfdia will be so BORING
Calling it “rigged” is an overstatement.
It’s fine if they want to make a character improve or derail, as long as they make sure it happens naturally and people don’t suspect it as a deliberate attempt by the writers.
BFB Post-split executed this very poorly.

i think a big issue that people dont address enough is that jacknjellify sometimes straight up kills the possible development of some less popular characters for no valid reason, some were killed off because either the writers didnt want to have anything to do with them or simply to increase the popularity of some characters that never interacted with said less popular characters
It's their show they can do what they want with it. This happens all the time in media, you need to get used to it.

And they made him switch teams with the team that was UFE that episode for no reason even though Rocky promised to not switch teams already and has no clear motive on why he would want to switch teams which made no sense

I understand why people would think this, but I don’t really care whether if Jacknjelify rigged the show. The show is still pretty good in general, and those “intentional” eliminations sometimes led to new and interesting storylines.

Everybody was so mad about Teardrop's BFDI elimination but people need to understand she was eliminated for a reason. It was clear that she was eliminated over Snowball because they didn't have any plans for her, and they thought Snowball had more potential as a character. If she stayed in, she wouldn't have done anything.

I think bfdi would kinda get the character arcs they want if they had contestants vote on contestants. Now I like viewer voting but it can be a problem a lot of times when you’re trying to write a good character. This really worked with II 2 for example since it was really silly in the start but then got really dramatic which was what the writers wanted. People love joke characters so if II 2 had viewer voting I could definitely see box getting a lot farther and sort of preventing that dramatic writing in a way. Like in TPOT 7 where a lot of people are saying clock is still getting screen time since rocky was supposed to be eliminated to continue clock and winner’s drama. I can definitely see how they may have rigged the voting
II 2 definitely had it's peak when they made the contestants vote cus then they can choose who they don't want either if they're not important or if they're arc is finished

Box got eliminated in the 5th episode in II 2 and got 4th last place and also is one of the most hated OSC characters so…..
But Box is my favourite II character in fact he is in my top 5 favourite characters in the entire OSC

This stuff isn't rigging... It's used in literally every object show. Puffball for example was a clear favourite to win and WOULD have won BFDIA if they kept going with her.
So to make the season less predictable they booted her. This is VERY similar to what they did in Inanimate Insanity in literally every season. Marshmallow was auto booted in II1, Marshmallow quit in II2 and YinYang was targetted in II3. Puffball showing a darker side to herself just made sense since having her just... Win... Isn't interesting.
A lot of these however are just kinda the writers choosing. That's not rigging, it's simply apart of the game. TB, TD and Ice Cube were all just kind of there... Tennis Ball didn't get to do much after Golf Ball was booted apart from a small friendship with Firey and rivalry with the Announcer, Icy was a CLEAR favourite to win but had re-used lines and was generally just useless so she had to be booted (a finale with her small bunch of re-used lines would be SO hard to make) and TD was honestly just a logical decision by Pencil. I don't think that was rigged I truly think they just chose to have Pencil think logically instead of just going along with her alliance.
I will say though, you completely missed an OBVIOUS bit of rigging with the entire final episode being about Flower... Like how are you gonna tell me making the ENTIRE final episode about one character RIGHT before the finale isn't favouring them?
Point is, they DO favour characters. But generally the boots are fair and actually make sense... They always follow voters (even if they have characters act in ways that clearly show they want them to be booted) that isn't really rigging. That's pushing people to vote in a specific way, not forcing them or messing with votes.

Very good video! I’m glad someone is at least talking about the ways the writers can write characters to make them more or less likely to get out. The only thing I think needs correcting was the first few statements about rocky in BFB. If I’m remembering correctly satomi actually confirmed that she was trying to get nickel of all characters out by putting beep up for elimination so much, which is weird cause nickel didn’t really do anything. Overall a good video though!

the fact most of the time after a character does something bad, their team is put up for elimination makes very predictable and rigged votes. it would be more fair if they waited, like have a character do something bad 1 episode, put them up for elimination the next
the fact that they put rocky up for elimination in both BFDIA and TPOT one after each other after rocky did a bad thing in BFDIA was an obvious way to get rocky out, it would've seen at least a little fair if they only put him up for elimination in TPOT

Actually, the reason BEEP lost so much in BFB was because Satomi wanted Nickel to get eliminated but he survived every time so she just dropped it after BFB 10.
rocky's elimination was literally so rigged, like one day they just decided "nah rocky sucks", made him do something bad in BFDIA AND put him up for elimination in BFDIA and TPOT

While it isn’t a rigged elimination I think that Dora in bfb had possibly the most unfair elimination of all time. She single-handedly won too challenge and she was given the majority of the comedic moments of team Bleh since the other members were given drama. However she got eliminated in bfb 15 for the first time Bleh was ufe, despite her being a team player, she lost to book, gaty, and saw, who have had less contribution to the team and caused more conflicts within the team. I just think it was unfair.

The Puffball thing was just a test, even if Puffy lost for her team, would she still get the prize? She’s obviously a fan-favorite, so will she get out? She did.
Snowball was more interesting than Teardrop at the time, and they did truly say that they did have the power to eliminate one of the two most voted, so it wasn’t rigged.
Also the rigging of TD’s elimination was out of their control, what were they supposed to do, not count them? Then would be rigging, seeing as they are changing the vote count.

A part of me does get kinda bothered by the blatant favoritism at play in certain eliminations. Some characters simply wouldn't be hated if they never got any type of derailment or bad moment. Rocky is the main outliar here. like he REALLY was made to look bad so they can focus on characters with actual character. But i really find it to be kinda bull cuz there are other one trick pony characters that also have no meaning towards the plot.
Overall though, i dont think its a huge deal and i still do enjoy what happens, but it does kinda bother me that its meant to be a voting of what the people watching want and they decide to just throw away a character just because. BFDI is a good example as no character had arcs really, so Tennis Ball and Ice Cube really shouldn't have been thrown out like that.

1. I want entertainment somehow
2. Having the eternally liked characters that would definitely win everytime is just boring
3. It gives other characters time to develop or become likeable. Like how Lollipop's elimination effected both TD and Gelatin. Neither won - but they became great characters.

That only happened because Gelatin reminded her about the money.
So, in a way, both Flower and Gelatin saved the show.

In BFB they were trying to get Nickel off the show by putting Beep UFE
In BFDI Teardrop got eliminated because of the contestants' choice, which was because of the Announcer changing the rules like he always does
In Teadrop's BFDIA elimination they didn't stop the votes because it would obviously be unfair to the people who didn't know about the voting war and there's no way to differenciate whether these voters were from the youtuber or from regular voters
Eh, Pencil didn't go with her alliance for really no reason and voted for Snowball instead. It looks EXTREMELY RIGGED when Pencil literally votes not like her alliance mates but just randomly votes Snowball. Eh.

Well, jacknjellify will have to rig BFDIA so that both Gelatin and Spongy are in the finals, otherwise the timeline will get all messed up.
Not Spongy, his elimination in BFB 16 didn’t really count since he didn’t get sucked into the EXIT

With how things are going, Spongy is NOT lasting another elimination, trust me.

They proved that it wasn't rigged actually in the "CARY AND TONY REACT TO BFDIA 11" video on humany's channel. The extensions just underestimated the dislikes.

honestly though puffball's elimination doesn't strike anything wrong to me, like in my opinion it makes sense, there's a reason she wanted to be put up for elimination, and she did something dumb, and got eliminated

I don’t know wether I agree or not, I think that the bfdia and Bfdi parts could be true, and flower’s Bfb win is a little fishy, but I wouldn’t say that Gelatin faded into the background after Lollipop left at ALL. And he certainly wasn’t the favorite to win at the final 6 considering the last elimination he attended at the time, bubble’s boot, he was bottom 3, and the next one he attended, woody’s boot, he was bottom two, heck in lollipop’s elimination he was bottom two for a second time in a row! It wasn’t until right after Lollipop left that he became a favorite to win, getting the most votes in Leafy’s and Teardrop’s boots, the two AFTER Lollipop. I doubt he would’ve gone from barely staying in to getting the most votes if he actually faded into the background. However, that’s just my opinion, and I totally see where you’re coming from. I just think that, if anything, Lollipop leaving might have actually helped Gelatin’s chances!

There is little to no evidence anyone has put ojt there yet, other than mostly older fans whining that they didn't get their way. Alsl, some forms of "rigging" would just be show running. Interested to see if this video will be good, or just another whine to add to the pile.
Now that the video has premiered, i can say it's actually very good, i mean, some of the examples used even if true don't bother me like gelatin as out of the final 6, he was the least interesting, lollipop, teardrop, leafy, flower and woody all made for better winning candidates than gelatin did. Other than that, almost noone knew about teardrops rigging until the pandemic, while we knew it was very, very suspect, the evidence hadn't yet fully come to light.
