Waiting for a video on spiral roundabouts please? Everytime I go to these roundabouts I make at least two serious faults as I get confused with lights and the lanes.
We are currently filming our videos for the end of December, so it’s going to be a little while I’m afraid. Hopefully your instructor can help you in the meantime 👍🏼
I failed 4 times too, 5th is booked but I am too scared to tell anybody when is it 🙈 Hope I will be the same as you. Congratulations for you, and safe driving 😊
@aliborbala I think it's best not to tell anyone when you do your test. The less people know the better it is for you nerves wise. You don't want that pressure of expectation to pass! Keep the hard work up and I'm sure you'll be fine ! ❤
Passed on my second test, my instructor told me to continue lessons but I dropped them to once a week, outside one major, I only got 4 minors but kicked myself on failing the first time, it was busy, I was behind a bus and I completely missed the line at a train crossing, the most annoying part was the fact I should have known it was there, I had gone down that road 100's of time during lessons. My tip and it may be tricky but just try to treat it like it's just another drive and not a test. Tell no one or as few as possible, it takes away the expectations and pressure of passing. Don't rush it; time isn't an issue, take as long as you want, I was doing lessons for nearly a year before even my first attempt.
I failed my first 2 tests. It was absolutely the best thing for me in hindsight. I was able to work on my work ons and stop worrying about things I was doing well, but just lacked confidence at. It makes passing all that much better since you feel like you worked just a little bit harder for it ❤️
Just failed my first test, kicking myself because it was things I’d never had an issue with before. Perhaps a bit of overconfidence at a meeting situation was what caused my examiner to brake, and a bit of speed started creeping in when usually I was fine. It’s okay though, I’m going to learn from my mistakes and hopefully smash it next time!
Advance Driving School Thank you! Couldn’t have done it without your videos helping to keep me refreshed in between lessons and your tips on the driving test! Can’t wait for future videos to help me become a safer driver as I progress :)
I’m dreading my test I’ve stuffed from anxiety and panic attacks for about 5 years it’s 10x harder for me even when having lessons hopefully I can pass in the next couple of months 🤞🏻🙂

Thanks for the encouraging comments and the informative videos. I failed my first test last Tuesday and felt very disappointed with myself since they were all simple errors which I never made during my driving lessons. I was an absolute bundle of nerves. Just getting the courage to book in another one.
I failed my first test recently. But booked another test straight away and have been taking more lessons. I feel more confident and my manoeuvres are so much better than the first time. I'll let you know if my pass my test soon😊🤞🏼🙏🏽
i always stalled my driving test car everytime my only problem is my clutch control i had a very rough time to it because i can't control properly but i'm grateful for that... i'm a beginner and i'm still learning, my last day of my driving test is next week.. wish me luck!! 🙏🏻
It's been a year since I passed my driving test. I failed the first time, but passed the second time with 4 minors. Here's my advice: 1. Understand that a lot of things can impact the outcome of the test - road conditions, traffic, test route, weather, examiner's judgement. You can't make these things work in your favour, so the best you can do is drive legally and safely. 2. Try not to make the test a big deal - failing is not pleasant, but you can always retake the test. Being a safe driver is better in the long term than passing as an unsafe driver. 3. During the test, don't "try not to fail" (you may second guess your decisions instead of driving how you normally would) or assume you've failed (you won't truly know until you get back to the test centre and park up). 4. Don't tell people you have a test coming up as this adds unnecessary peer-pressure. I also think it's more exciting to tell people you've passed when they least expect it. 5. Don't spend hours the day before your test revising. You can practice things like manoeuvres an hour before your test and go over the show-me/tell-me questions, but the fundamentals of driving should not be new to you.
Thank you for this great video. Ifelt so disheartened after I failed my test, I nearly gave up thought driving isn't for me. I feel so stressed as most of my social life and my job opportunities depend on driving😟 I rebooked the test hope I pass this time.
Oh, I understand you so well. I failed twice, but I'm not going to give up. :) As Th. Roosevelt had said, if someone fails, ''at least fails while daring greatly''. Even a failed test gives you a lot of experience, so try not to judge yourself too much. Good luck with your next test!
I failed my test today! Got 2 serious faults. One is I forgot my car is in neutral and i try to move off from an uphill junction. I am a bit nervous and then stamp on the accelerator so hard to try to go. The other one is I try to park on the left but I forgot to put indicators on. I though there are no cars behind! However I did think I learn some valuable experience from it and I hope I will pass next time!
Doing my test again ! Got a serious!!! Arhhhhhh! I do the pull up on the left and drive on again. I did the checks and I see a car behind. I thought he is waiting for me to go so I just indicate and go. I don’t realise he is actually wanting to overtake me! 😢 . Therefore go a serious on moving off-safely
I just failed my 3rd attempt today and it was reverse bay parking, my favourite of all the manoeuvres. I think i got over excited as i knew i had driven well 😢. I have spent so much money to drive that i cant give up now. 4th test has been booked and hopefully i pass before the end of the year!
Did u pass? I did a 3rd test today and didn’t even pass normal driving due to the unfiltered traffic lights that also has arrow…I waited for arrow to turn but assessor told me to go when it was green dot. Those unfiltered lights did me dirty, I didn’t know unfiltered lights can also come with arrows. Cuz I had learned recently about the ones without arrows but not those😕

I literally just failed today for the 3rd time, I was pulling out of a junction and a car on the main road was turning left, so I had a gap. A car from behind overtook him when he shouldn’t and therefore I pulled out on him.
HI ADS. I've been taking driving lessons since April of this year. My driving instructor says "I can drive a car no problem, but my awareness isn't there". Now I've cancel my lessons because of this, and it's driving me potty that my awareness isn't up to the standard I want it to be. Would it be possible if you made a video about driving awareness? Explaining what it ACTUALLY is. How it develops. And how it helps you to become a safer and better driver. Please and thank you ADS 🙂

@@AdvanceDrivingSchool Thank you. Test booked for January. The serious fault was speed but apart from that, I had 3 minors. At least, i know what to work on now.
I'm one of those who didn't pass first time and I didn't let it put me down... I went again a 2nd time and still didn't pass, I was doing really well then the examiner (I got the same examiner first and 2nd time) threw directions at me last second on a roundabout that I stopped over a line. Normally only full license holders can hire a car unfortunately. You will need to borrow a friends car or if you are having regular lessons use your instructors car.
Sorry to hear that you didn't pass - but as the video says it's a very common situation. Work on the reasons your driving wasn't up to standard, and only try again once you are sure that you are ready. Good luck!
