Lifting visa restrictions is not the most important thing for the country. Basic governance that guarantees security and enable people to earn a daily bread in peace will lead to even more prosperity.

Wrong attitude. Every step forward matters. Let's encourage government to take more steps towards improving the living conditions for all of us, not criticising all the time.

Stop this! He just made a point, you are just hypocritical. What does uae have to offer you? Why must you leave your country if it's habitable? Do you know people are really hungry and suffering as a result of subsidy removal? How does lifting a visa ban correct that? Think right

Seeing how the Blue Line has made life easier for Lagosians, one cannot help but wonder how much relief and progress it would have made if established when it was first conceived before cancellation in 1985. And yes, in 1985 Muhammadu Buhari canceled the project at a loss of over $78 million to the state taxpayers. Yet, the same man came and promised "change" and we believed him.

If the transport industry is managed effectively, this will boot the economy through networking communities to foster enhanced trading and infrastructural development, which creates more job opportunities.
Someday, I hope to serve Nigerians in the capacity of a transport minister, with an extensive corporate and operational experience gained in the international transport industry

What is lost in the Lagos Blue rail lines is the fact that this is over 40 yrs late. Lateef Jakande started the program before Buhari destroyed/cancelled it in '83. Buhari did more damage to Nigeria like no one can imagine. There is little reason to jubilate.

There is a reason to jubilate. What you described was a blockade of an infrastructural project but the vision did not die and was not defeated. It was accomplished in our lifetime despite the first and second coming of the Nigerian leaders who cancelled it.

Nothing was started in 1983, y'all should stop lying cos it was just on paper and the contract was cancelled. Moreover it was a different design and route..The Blue line rail was officially started in 2007 okay.

We thank Governor Sanwo-olu for the train but we also want to appeal to him to please carry out repair of our roads. From Lekki
express road, Orile, Agege, third mainland bridge, in fact all roads in Lagos are in dismal state. We are looking forward to the fourth mainland bridge as promised by His Excellency but we need to move around. Some of the port holes can actually swallow a car. Lagosians are suffering and groaning under the removal of the fuel subsidy , must we also have to spend more in the mechanic workshops. Please Governor, take care of our assets, Lagos is now a big slum.

Let's learn to appreciate the government at once. This is good job from Mr President on UAE and the state governor. The people that stays in UAE will appreciate what Tinubu did for those who are staying and working in DUBAI. But for those who haven't travelled out of the country will not know what's on ground and be saying against the leadership of Nigeria. Thank you, Mr. President and Mr. Sanwolu
