The bgm PRO conversion mixture adjusting screw is used to use Vespa SI carburettors with long hexagon mixture adjusting screw also in older engines (with stud bolt for carburettor fixing). It replaces the (too) long adjusting screw and enables a problem-free disassembly/assembly of the carburettor. The shorter screw also allows the carburettor bowl to remain original.
Fits all carburettors with long hexagonal mixture adjustment screw.
Used in the PX models from approx. 1989 and all new Dell'Orto/Spaco SI carburettors.
CONCLUSION: Indispensable for a clean solution to an old problem!
Air mixture adjustment screw on the SI carburettor too long?
A carburettor is also a wearing part and sometimes it is simply not enough to clean a carburettor, you need a new carburettor.
Especially if you want a bit more power and you adjust your engine setup with a bigger carburettor, you need a new carburettor.
Today, all new carburettors come from SPACO, even if it says DellOrto on it. New SI carburettors - whether from Dell Orto or Spaco - are always supplied with a long hexagonal mixture adjustment screw.
The exception here is our bgm Faster Flow carburettors - but more on that later.
In the case of carburettor sumps for engines without separate lubrication, this presents us with a small problem, because:
- the carburettors no longer fit properly into the sump
- if you somehow manage to get it in, there's no rubber seal on it anymore
- and it's hard to get at it

With our short mixture adjustment screw for slotted screwdrivers you can fix the problem cheaply, easily and quickly.
Alternatively, you can also use a bgm Faster Flow carburettor directly, here we have already provided the update.
The bgm carburettors come directly with the short screw for the models without separate lubrication.

stimmt so nicht, ich habe mir am 11.08.2021 einen BGM SI 24 bei euch gekauft und da ist immer noch die lange luftgemischschraube verbaut. also bitte nicht lügen !!!
