Conversations like this truly make me want to buy you guys a meal just to be included in a hang out with you gents. Your friendship is palpable and the fact that there is never any dead air between you both is a testament to the bonds you guys have. Love ya boys!:)
no lie guys, you both have made my life significantly better. In my teens and early 20s I had a big friend group and some passed away or just drifted away. Y’all remind me of them for sure, good dudes. Big love from NY
@1:04:30 Something I noticed in Japan is not just that there's sweet treats everywhere, but there's fried chicken/fried food EVERYWHERE. Tons of super decadent food all over.
Colin, I am so ecstatic that you've enlisted in the PinkPanthress army now. She's incredible, and the fact I can go from God's Hate to her music right after is the best
There was a point in time in the 90s when vinyl was being phased out. Big labels stopped pressing vinyl unless it was dance/club/DJ oriented. That's why some of those 90s pressing rock LPs are rare on vinyl.
These guys always pop up when i leave youtube on in the background, no matter what im watching. It use to be this cannibal corpse documentary..there great I'm all in now.
Dude I just stumbled back to that song today on the way home from the gym. Listened to that record as a kid and had no idea he was on that song. What a coincidence.
I honestly thought the whole episode was going to be about Japan with Q&A just about Japan. I was so puzzled when y'all were already onto video games within like fifteen minutes.
I was also at the Green Bay Pantera show!! GB is my hometown so very glad you were treated well Bo!!! Did you happen to stop at Krolls for a butter burger? Life changing. Hardlore fucking rules🤘🏼
Going to Japan is definitely on my bucket list! Enjoying good food, exploring it and watching pro wrestling show at Korakuan Hall!!! Great Episode! btw. one of my Top 60s/70s Records King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King Jimi Hendrix - Electric Ladyland Mahavishnu Orchestra - The Inner Mounting Flame
Absolutely superb. The variety of the content while maintaining consistent quality is Manscape levels of pedigree. Bo if you love Stephen Graham check out Boiling Point. Its a true one take film set one night in a restaurant where he is the very under pressure head chef and a bunch of shit goes wrong. Hes also great in movie called Help (2021) about a care home during COVID and how they were left to fend for themselves. He plays an early onset dementia patient. Him and Jodie Comer (whos also great in everything) absolutely kill it.
I feel the restaurant statement. I lived in Japan for a bit and almost every restaurant experience was kind of meh. The over the top restaurants where you are eating somen on a ceiling tile in a forest were amazing, but most of the restaurants didn’t do it. Bar food and little hole in the wall joints are where it is at.
I never realized when the venue asked what band I’m there to see they were trying to see how much to pay each band. I always thought the door person was just being nice 🤦🏼♂️
As a Northwesterner I’m bummed that Tacoma is so damn far away. As a carless person also, I appreciate the pro-public transit rant because it would be lovely if there was a non-expensive train to Tacoma!!! I coulda gone to jag if there was one
Bo I love you and what your hands have done for us but as a person who grew up in the DEEP south, I refuse to believe that a train line played ANY part in the Civil War
I didn’t say it was like a main cause but the discussion of the transcontinental railroad being centered in either the north or south was another straw thrown on the camel’s back as the north solidifying travel and commerce in their favor. It was only partially completed during the war and yet was hugely beneficial for that exact reason.
Would love an episode of Bo showing us around Chicago. Where he went to shows and where harm’s way came up.
If you think public transport in California is a joke then the one here in Texas is a whole stand up special
Conversations like this truly make me want to buy you guys a meal just to be included in a hang out with you gents. Your friendship is palpable and the fact that there is never any dead air between you both is a testament to the bonds you guys have. Love ya boys!:)
