If he had had a 38, he had enough time to empty it.
I carry the Barretta Tomcat. Love it. Yes the 32acp is smaller but love carrying it because of its small size. For me it is just enough carry insurance for a Walmart parking lot.
Id roll with a Glock 42 instead. They hold up remarkably well vs rusting. Carrying concealed in the south will expose the gun to a lot of sweat and humidity.
Gotta love that Extreme Defender. Great performance from both but actually impressive with the .380 again. It still gets good penetration even with that light bullet. Good stuff as always my friend. 👍🇺🇸
Underwood used to have a +P 32acp round called the “Extreme Cavitator”, I bought a few boxes of it years ago it was rated at 1150FPS, shooting that plus P out of my tiny LW Seacamp that thing was snappy as hell but man that was a vicious little round for 32! 👍🏻
True, but that would be a reason not to use it. I mean, I don't want to defend myself from a threat to my life, then find out that I accidentally started World War III by virtue of using a .32 caliber pistol. ;P
That was really impressive for a .380. The smaller calibers aren't my cup of tea for protection personally, but if I did carry a .380 I know what ammo I would carry with it now. Great test. Awesome video, as always, brother.
You know what? I’m just gonna come out and say it. I need to add to my bucket list. To load up my tools and take a ride to spend a day at Mr. Tool’s range and have some fun testing ammo. Thanks tools, I just got a box for my little .32 never my carry gun I’ll stick with 9mm, 45acp, or .38spl/.357mag. But the .32 was my 1st carry gun I got when I was 18 years old and and I’ve shot a good amt out of that little Tom kitty. I switched to .38spl then once 21 I bought a G26. We got way better options now days thank goodness, I’m loving the new FN reflex it has replaced my other micro 9mm’s. But this underwood ammo in the .32acp give me something when I want to carry a backup or just have it as a backup to show it some love since it’s got a special place in my heart. Thanks for the ammo reviews!
The wound channel from the 380 shocked me . I carry the max 380 . I really like it better than I thought I would. It's so light you forget that you have it .
Thanks for this test as test between mouse guns are rare. Beretta sells a lot of Tomcats so I believe the 32 ACP is still relevant. I saw an ad for Tisas offering a tip up barrel Beretta type pistol in 380. I'll be interested in seeing how it performs
Fun fact, no police department has ever issued .380 service weapons. But, many european countries have issued .32 acp service weapons to their officers. I had an old Sig P230 chambered in .32. It handled beautifully and was easy to conceal. But, i think it was only a 7 round single stack.
Thanks for the video. I carry 380 all summer now. Pocket carry with my LCP Custom. Great little gun, and the easiest to carry/conceal I have ever owned, after an NAA Mini Revolver. For ammo, my choice is the Underwood 90 grain Xtreme Penetrator rather than the lightweight defender. Call me old fashioned, but I prefer more sectional density in a 35 caliber handgun than 68 grains. I am sure either one will work. I would never carry a hollow point or FTX style bullet with this short barrel.
When I get old and need less recoil than a 9mm, then these 380s would be the choice. But I do like the idea of these Bobcats. 32 would the smallest caliber I'd go, and Underwood would be my choice as well. So great idea comparing these, Tools. Thanks for the hard work.
I would think between the 2 most would choose .380 as the bare minimum for self defense, I don't have anything in .32 but it was still fun to watch and a good comparison. Have a good one brother see you on the next one.
Great tests. Great performance from both. But for sure the Tomcat is sensitive to hot loads and has been notorious for cracked frames. Plus the owners' manual specifically says no +P. Given the Tomcat's history of breakage I'd pay attention to it. Thanks for the jelly.
Thank you sir. I've seen that. These are just barely above the energy max they list. I definitely wouldn't go running a days worth of it but for some testing and if I ever had to carry this, I think it can handle a little here and there. Plus it's the "tactical" version so that's adds +10 durability!😉
Thanx for the test Tools. The older I get, the more I carry mouse guns. I’m not the police , I don’t need to kill anyone. I just want them to run away and leave me and mine alone. That said, tho I have several micro 9’s, I carry my .380 the most, but have never found any Underwood ammo. Would love to see more brands of .380 & .32 ammo tested if you are so inclined. As Always, You’re the Best !!!!!
Nice performance from both! I think I'm gonna get some Underwood Defenders for my pocket 380s. Been carrying Hornady Critical Defense, but I've seen several tests that they don't penetrate enough. Thanks Tools!
That's the huge benefit with these. You always know what you're gonna get. I should have another interesting .380 test coming soon with some rounds being sent my way.😎👍
Both of these rounds would be lethal. It just depends on shot placement. Don't forget the 32 ACP was the shot heard around the world at the start of world war 1.
Hey tools, first I’d like to say thank you for covering these smaller rounds. Secondly, strictly because of your videos covering the lcp max in combination with underwood extreme defenders, i purchased both and have been carrying them for a while, as your videos have shown me they’re a potent combo in a small package! Now, I’d also like to say, I know you said multiple times that you hate the LCP Max because of how it won’t shoot poa/poi, and you even bought a second one that did the same thing. When I bought my max in November-ish 2022, my gun shot left 7” and low 10” at 7 yards. At first I thought it was me, because I’m no expert marksman, so I put some more training into it and was getting the same results. I contacted ruger and they sent me a shipping label and return merchandise form, I sent my gun in through fedex, and got it back a week later with a new barrel and slide, accompanied by a target from 7 yards with a tight tight grouping. Now, my accuracy isn’t as good as the customer service, and I’m working on that, but now all my shots hit the target and I get OKAY grouping and decent poa/poi. I am much much more comfortable carrying this gun now as a viable self defense tool. I mean shoot, before I sent it in, I could hold the sight picture completely off target top right and STILL shoot low left of the target. Now the accuracy error is clearly me and I can work with that. Just my two cents, again, thank you for showing this gun and it’s ballistics so much!! I’d highly recommend contacting ruger if you are still having low left issues. Keep it cool 😎
Appreciate that, brother. I was messing around with it the other day after I tested this again and it's definitely off. I have to basically use a sight picture where my front dot is pretty much sitting on top of the back notch ears to hit point of aim. If this was something I ever planned to carry it would have gone back long ago, but for gel testing, I just roll with it.😆
@@ToolsandTargets I’m just about to turn 23 and have only been carrying for close to 2 years now, my first gun was a glock 43x and I appendix carried that everyday from the get go, but when measure 114 passed in Oregon was around the same time I had started seeing your vids on the lcp max, I wasn’t in the market for another gun but wanted to get something small for pocket carry/dress clothes type situation before shtf and it could’ve been made impossible for me to buy another gun. Hence, the lcp max. Didn’t plan to daily carry it, but it’s just too darn convenient and with these underwood rounds I don’t feel like I’m giving up much if any firepower compared to a lot of 9mm hollows. Sometimes I’ll carry my 43x (with shield arms 15 round mags of course, flawless design never had a hiccup), but that max is in my pocket everywhere even as just a backup. Thinking out loud at this point, but I might just have to get a threaded barrel and suppressor for my g43x and strictly keep it a home defense for now until I get something better suited. Always on the lookout 😂 Sig MPX K is pretty cool….
The 380 flipped.. reason for the fantastic wound channel … I wonder how it would perform in the Security 380 , one of my favorite carry guns .. especially with the +10 RSA The 32 ACP is “The little cartridge that could “ Im a huge 32 ACP, 32 Long & 32 H&R fan Non- existent to light recoil.. equals quick and accurate follow up shots … usually Im against + P in calibers that don’t have SAMMI specs .. but a few of these will not hurt your pistol.. especially being produced by UW .. usually they reach increased velocities without much more pressure… Thanks for your good work
I have a 1939 Walther PP 7.65mm (.32ACP). Very accurate, low recoil, easy follow-up shots and and excellent safety. No, it ain't gonna hit like a .45 ACP or 9mm, but it sure is easy to conceal and I definitely wouldn't want to get hit with one of those Underwood bullets. As for velocity tests, I'll bet the factory used a longer barrel. I wonder what the velocity would be from a Walther PP which has a 3.9" barrel. Oh, and Walther has just put the PP back in production in both 7.65mm and 9mm Kurz, for about $1000.
I carry the Underwood Extreme Defender P+ in my 380s. Sometimes mixed with Extreme Penetrators. Nerve damage in both hands means I am very recoil-sensitive. I have to use 380 to be sure I can put multiple shots on target and not just the first one. Starting to fire my S&W more which means I do have a 9mm option at times. I use the Extreme Defenders in the Equalizer as well. My preferred 380 CCW is the Sig P365-380. Those of us who have to carry 380 a lot thank you for the win. Haha.
The 32 calibers are often underestimated. In this case it was in a very small pistol. In something a touch larger would only improve the results. An old Cheetah 32 would be a great platform for that load.
My 380 pistols are micro-compact pocket pistols and my 32 is a subcompact with an IWB holster. I have carried it before and it is accurate but it is not one that I prefer to carry. Thanks for the video and have a great weekend.
I like, and carry 380 and 32s. (PPKs) I carry HSTs in the 380, FMJs in the 32, mainly because it’s 100% reliable with them. I haven’t found any HPs it functions very reliably with. I like the performance on these Xdefender 32s, definitely better than FMJs! I’d just have to function test a box or 2 of them to make sure! Good test, thanks bro.
Tools you could second as a comedian. Nice test and the results were as expected. If I carried a 380 I think the Underwood would be the way to go. Nothing else seems to perform the way we'd like with the small size pocket guns. Thanks again for all you do, your time and effort are greatly appreciated. Be vigilant and always be safe my friend.
I'd have low expectations, but I'd like to see an Xtreme Penetrator .25 ACP tested anyway. .25 ACP is like .22 Short or .22LR in a handgun, in that they never have too much penetration. Even the most powerful .25 ACP, like Buffalo Bore 60gr hardcast lead, penetrates merely adequately. There are tests of that and also fairly high-velocity 50gr FMJ on TH-cam. We're talking like 13-16" of penetration in gel. The Lehigh bullets do more damage and have larger wound tracks, but they do give up some penetration depth. That could result in underpenetration in .25 ACP, even if loaded to maximum pressure. The .32 ACP Lehigh bullet barely penetates deep enough, even in Underwood's +P. I expect the .25 would fall short of 12" penetration with the same bullet design. There are actually no SAAMI +P specifications for .25, .32, and .380 ACP. They're just overpressure ammo the guns aren't made for. But some guns can handle them. It's still quite low pressure, and I'm not worried with the most modern pistols. But it's more wear and since it's not in spec this +P should probably only be shot enough to verify function and carry. Practice with standard pressure. But overpressure .25 and .32 aren't hard to handle. .380 +P can be, depending on the gun. It sure looks better in the gel, and on paper since you can get a modern double-stack like the Ruger LCP Max, but unlike the other cartridges it's too snappy for a lot of people to enjoy shooting. I'd definitely say there's still a place for .32. .25, I don't know. .25s aren't really lighter and smaller than .32s, and .32s have light recoil even with double the energy of a .25. But I like knowing that good .25 ammo is lethal and effective. If I had one, I'd feel decently armed with it.
I'm looking at that gravel road behind you and that sand stone you're walking on and it looks just exactly like the woods down her in the North Mississippi country where I live. Looks like home!
I love my little lcp2 380 for my pocket. I have prescion one 90 grain xtp loads that do great and when not using them I definitely run the 68gr xtdefender. Another great video tools!ty for all your work!
I wouldn't mind sending you some of them xtp loads to test tools. They won the "ammo quest" series years ago so I'd be interested to see if you'd get the same consistency I have with em
I carry the underwood extreme cavitater standard pressure 32 ( I think it’s discontinued )in my 1936 Walther ppk. I don’t uses +p becase of the age of the gun but it’s accurate and it makes me feel like James Bond when I carry it . But now that I have a subcompact hellcat in 9mm I don’t carry the ppk as much but I still love the gun .
I just ordered an assortment of calibers of Freedom Munitions X-Def JHPs, I've seen YT reviews where they were lacking a bit in performance 5-6yrs ago, but a lot of people are saying they've been getting it right lately with their X-Def line of ammo, it'd be interesting to see you do tests with their X-Def in .380, 9mm & .45acp to see if they finally perfected their JHP design. It'd be great if they did 'cos 50rds of JHPs for the basically the same price of ball ammo would be a win for the consumer for sure!
I love this ammo and use it in all my handguns except my p32. I had rim lock twice in 1 box of ammo. I loaded them carefully so it's happening during recoil. Great video though
I went out and got a LCP MAX loaded with Underwood XD 68gr +p because of the TEXAS summers and your channel. Never believe in .380, but basketball shorts, 100 degree weather and the need for a lightweight micro carry push me away from the chonkie G27 loaded with federal hst.
It would definitely sting getting hit by either one of those! Great presentation. I really think this new bullet technology will be king in the future. Thanks so much for your awesome vids👍👍

I have the Bersa thunder 380 for my edc. It has a 3.5 inch barrel. Definitely harder hit and deeper penetration than the mouse guns and just as concealable. I also use extreme defender ammunition from Underwood.
Thanks for your video. When I go fishing in summer wearing light clothing my favorite carry gun is my Kel Tec P3AT. I carry 7 rounds total, one in the chamber 6 in the magazine. I use Grizzly mfg. 380 +P 90 grain HP with a listed velocity of 1200 FPS. I'm sure I am getting over 1000 FPS in this little gun. I carry it in my wader pocket which is easy to access. Its perfect for it weighs only 11.4 ounces fully loaded with those 7 rounds. Sometimes I have to check to see if I'm still carrying it because its so light. Even my German mfg. Walther TPH in .22 lr weighs more with the same amount of ammo .22 LR 40 grain. I don't know of any semi-auto that weights so little with that much firepower.
Been carrying that Underwood .380 Extreme Defender for a few years since it came out. Used Gold Dot before that. I carry two different .380s around a lot. They are great for pocket carry in loose clothes like sportswear. Never think twice about if they'll do damage. Damn coyotes attacking people right now in the middle of town. Put a .380 round in one and no more problems.
@Tools&Targets population just exploded here in Arizona. They adapt well and live right in town. A kid got attacked by one just a couple days ago. I live on edge of town and they get to howling on either side of us. They get a lot of pets too. I take my hunting dogs out and I'm always packing a pistol. My buddy had to cap one trying to lure his dog away from him once. He pulled out his Ruger Mark III Hunter and put one right in the yotes head...... the luring ended.
I have seen dozens of .380 videos using every single self defense bullet that is commercially available, and the Underwood copper fluted bullets consistently give the best performance. It makes the .380 a legit sd option. I know the .32 auto was crazy popular in Europe 100 years ago, and this ammo test showed it could do the job, but when it comes down to it, I want more power than the .32 can give.
@@garyweber8370 so which one should i buy for self defence .380 or .32 i am from india and i want a pocket pistol and i am a noob in gun knowledge .. please help
The Xtreme Defenders were a game changer for .380 ACP. I carry the +Ps in my P3AT. Barrier blind, penetrate like FMJs, and wound tracks look similar to those of good 9mm hollow points. They're expensive but well worth it for someone who simply would not carry a larger 9mm gun every day.
Interesting test!👍 For mouse guns (22, 25, 32, and many include 380), some folks say no point to expanding bullets, just count on penetration and accuracy. But this Underwood is respectable. I have to wonder about running +P 32 in my 1907 Savage or +P 380 in my West German made PPK. I wonder how it stacks up to plain old RN FMJ, standard pressure or +P.
nice video; professional but informal. Love my pocket guns. If i can't carry bigger, i'm with my 380 LCP and seecamp 32. wouldn't want to get hit by either
Being an older man I realize the practical self defense choice of a 32. No recoil to speak of and very accurate. Lets be honest about personal protection, a couple of arm lengths or less in most situations.
Another great test! You are my go-to for ballistics testing. My manual for LCP MAX that i use for backup/pocket carry says +p is not to be used in it. I am currently shooting the NormaMHP and Barnes TAC-XDP mostly because they have been available and more affordable. Moving forward I am inclined to invest in the non +p Underwoods or go cheaper with the Winchester flat nose FMJ. All based on your testing. Looking forward to the next tests.

Good info.
I have a couple of 32ACPs.
Thank you sir.😎👊
The wound channel from the 380 shocked me . I carry the max 380 . I really like it better than I thought I would. It's so light you forget that you have it .
They would do the trick.😎👍
Nice 👍 I thought Beretta said not to run +P ammo in the Tomcat ???
Love my .380’s. Thanks for the info on the Underwood ammo. I’m going to pick some up next time I’m out.
Great stuff.😎👍
Thanks for this test as test between mouse guns are rare. Beretta sells a lot of Tomcats so I believe the 32 ACP is still relevant. I saw an ad for Tisas offering a tip up barrel Beretta type pistol in 380. I'll be interested in seeing how it performs
Hmmm, might have to check that out.
I might have to check that out too. That sounds pretty nice.
Another good test! If I wind up with another Seecamp LWS32 I'll be testing the .32 Xtreme Defender ammo through it.
They really give the small stuff a nice boost.😎👍
Fun fact, no police department has ever issued .380 service weapons. But, many european countries have issued .32 acp service weapons to their officers. I had an old Sig P230 chambered in .32. It handled beautifully and was easy to conceal. But, i think it was only a 7 round single stack.
😎👊
Thank you sir.😎👍
Bobcat is 22
@@TrippYTre ah yes. The Tomcat is the 32 equivalent.
The Underwood Extreme Defender 68 grain .380 is my LCP-MAX carry load. This video shows once again that it is a good choice. Thanks T&T.
😎👊
Underwood makes the LCP MAX look good. Great ammo. 👍🇺🇸👂😆👊
Yes it does.😎👍
I would think between the 2 most would choose .380 as the bare minimum for self defense, I don't have anything in .32 but it was still fun to watch and a good comparison. Have a good one brother see you on the next one.
Thank you sir. The Beretta wins by a landslide in the looks department at least.😆
@@ToolsandTargets For sure. The Tomcat in that desert sand and threaded barrel looks great. Thanks again, your tests are just what we want to see.
I carry a Glock 42 380 and in the Glock is the Underwood 380 +P 90gr Xtreme Penetrator Solid Monolithic Hunting and Self Defense Ammo.
Appreciate that. I do have Critical Defense in both of these.
I should have another interesting .380 test coming soon with some rounds being sent my way.😎👍
i carry these Xtreme Defender +p in my lcp max great ammo
Both of these rounds would be lethal. It just depends on shot placement. Don't forget the 32 ACP was the shot heard around the world at the start of world war 1.
😎👊
It was a 380
Hey tools, first I’d like to say thank you for covering these smaller rounds.
The 380 flipped.. reason for the fantastic wound channel …
I wonder how it would perform in the Security 380 , one of my favorite carry guns .. especially with the +10 RSA
The 32 ACP is “The little cartridge that could “
Im a huge 32 ACP, 32 Long & 32 H&R fan
Non- existent to light recoil.. equals quick and accurate follow up shots … usually Im against + P in calibers that don’t have SAMMI specs .. but a few of these will not hurt your pistol.. especially being produced by UW .. usually they reach increased velocities without much more pressure…
Thanks for your good work
That round making those little guns deadly
Mhmm
I've had to use my .32 4 times, with 3 DOAs and arm removal. My little 3032 has protected me very well.
where the F do you live where you've had to kill 3 people and dismember 1!?
I got a little 380, but i really don't think it's really enough gun ,so I always take my 3 inch sp101 along in 357.
I'm right there with ya. I can always manage to carry my 9mm.
Once again, it reinforces my choice in Underwood and their XD loadings. They just never fail, no matter the caliber.
Consistency is impressive with them.😎👍
I gotta get a 380 guy to win every now and then. That really made me laugh.
😂
My 380 pistols are micro-compact pocket pistols and my 32 is a subcompact with an IWB holster. I have carried it before and it is accurate but it is not one that I prefer to carry. Thanks for the video and have a great weekend.
That's opposite from most people who have both.😆
I carry Underwood Xtreme Defenders in my Sig P365-380. For me it's a great gun and it cycles the Defenders flawlessly.
Thank you sir.😎👊
Tools you could second as a comedian. Nice test and the results were as expected. If I carried a 380 I think the Underwood would be the way to go. Nothing else seems to perform the way we'd like with the small size pocket guns. Thanks again for all you do, your time and effort are greatly appreciated.
Be vigilant and always be safe my friend.
😂 Thank you sir. Have a great weekend!
Pretty cool test. Thank you. They were very impressive. I don't have a .25 ACP. But these rounds in .25ACP might be a really good thing.
I don't either but I'd like to find one locally to test with.😎👍
I'd have low expectations, but I'd like to see an Xtreme Penetrator .25 ACP tested anyway. .25 ACP is like .22 Short or .22LR in a handgun, in that they never have too much penetration.
Great Ammo test Tools 🇺🇸👊. I'm currently looking at the Ruger LCPMax ll in 380 for one of my EDC.
Thank you sir.😎👊
I'm looking at that gravel road behind you and that sand stone you're walking on and it looks just exactly like the woods down her in the North Mississippi country where I live. Looks like home!
😎👊
I love my little lcp2 380 for my pocket. I have prescion one 90 grain xtp loads that do great and when not using them I definitely run the 68gr xtdefender. Another great video tools!ty for all your work!
Thank you sir.😎👊
I wouldn't mind sending you some of them xtp loads to test tools. They won the "ammo quest" series years ago so I'd be interested to see if you'd get the same consistency I have with em
Man ...that 380 kicked some ass
Great video tools
Thank you sir.😎👊
My dad carried a French 10 shot 32 auto in a shoulder holster. He was on a Howetser in a TX outfit in N. Africa France Italy & Germany.
Cool stuff.😎👍
The "Cavitator" in .32 is almost appalling, if you ever get a chance to see it in action.
I love this ammo and use it in all my handguns except my p32. I had rim lock twice in 1 box of ammo. I loaded them carefully so it's happening during recoil. Great video though
Just picked up the Barretta for pocket carry, love it and with the rebate $300 seems like a steal.
Great video! Confirmed my hopes that Lehigh Defense could make .32ACP a viable defense round in the modern world of firearms.
.380 extreme defender from Wilson Combat in a Beretta 84 and 85.
😎👊
I went out and got a LCP MAX loaded with Underwood XD 68gr +p because of the TEXAS summers and your channel. Never believe in .380, but basketball shorts, 100 degree weather and the need for a lightweight micro carry push me away from the chonkie G27 loaded with federal hst.
I always enjoy your vids. The Ruger lcp max or the Glock 42 is my summer pocket carry loaded with underwood.
The hollow base of the .380 sure helped with the tumbling.
I gotta say, that little tomcat seems to hold its own. I like it. Great vidio.😮
Thank you sir.😎👊
It would definitely sting getting hit by either one of those! Great presentation. I really think this new bullet technology will be king in the future. Thanks so much for your awesome vids👍👍
Thank you sir.
I was depending on the 380's due to a left arm injury, upon full recovery, now back to 9 mm's. Thanks for the demonstration!
Good to have the option for situations like that!😎👍 Glad you're back in business, my friend!
I thought he had some debris or something fly back again into his face when he flinched…but he forgot his earplugs…He makes me jump when he does that…And I’m safe at home 😂
😆😆😆 Took me a minute to realize what happened.
Wow! Exelente video! Una gran y detallada demostración de estos calibres! Un gran saludo desde Mar del Plata, Argentina!
Thanks for the comparison. I own both but don't have the jelly.
Great rounds for these smaller calibers.😎👍
😎👍
Tool's I was obsessively researching the .32 today. Thanks Man.
😎👊
Been carrying that Underwood .380 Extreme Defender for a few years since it came out. Used Gold Dot before that.
I carry two different .380s around a lot. They are great for pocket carry in loose clothes like sportswear. Never think twice about if they'll do damage.
Damn coyotes attacking people right now in the middle of town. Put a .380 round in one and no more problems.
Had some coyotes sounded like right outside the window a few weeks ago. By the time I got up and to the door, they were gone.
He pulled out his Ruger Mark III Hunter and put one right in the yotes head...... the luring ended.
....As it SHOOUUULD BE!!!😂
I have seen dozens of .380 videos using every single self defense bullet that is commercially available, and the Underwood copper fluted bullets consistently give the best performance. It makes the .380 a legit sd option. I know the .32 auto was crazy popular in Europe 100 years ago, and this ammo test showed it could do the job, but when it comes down to it, I want more power than the .32 can give.
Yessir. I want as much power as I'm able to comfortably handle.
380 and bigger have a 17ish % chance of failing to stop on the first shot, even if head shot. 22,25 and 32 cal has double that.
@@garyweber8370 so which one should i buy for self defence .380 or .32 i am from india and i want a pocket pistol and i am a noob in gun knowledge .. please help
Both of them are smoking That's a pretty impressive round. Very good video
Thank you sir.
this is why i carry a 380 over a 32 acp pocket rocket lol all though i may still get a keltec p32 one day there so small its crazy
I think the mice are having a tug o war for that cheese who wants it more ??? Great test 😁👍
🐭🧀🐭
The Xtreme Defenders were a game changer for .380 ACP. I carry the +Ps in my P3AT. Barrier blind, penetrate like FMJs, and wound tracks look similar to those of good 9mm hollow points. They're expensive but well worth it for someone who simply would not carry a larger 9mm gun every day.
Yep
Interesting test!👍 For mouse guns (22, 25, 32, and many include 380), some folks say no point to expanding bullets, just count on penetration and accuracy. But this Underwood is respectable. I have to wonder about running +P 32 in my 1907 Savage or +P 380 in my West German made PPK. I wonder how it stacks up to plain old RN FMJ, standard pressure or +P.
I totally agree. I'm not a fan of conventional lead expanding rounds in either of these.
It is the way to go! Especially in .32. Good job Tools!
Thank you sir.😎👍
nice video; professional but informal. Love my pocket guns. If i can't carry bigger, i'm with my 380 LCP and seecamp 32. wouldn't want to get hit by either
Appreciate that.😎👍
Being an older man I realize the practical self defense choice of a 32. No recoil to speak of and very accurate. Lets be honest about personal protection, a couple of arm lengths or less in most situations.
😎👊
Another great test! You are my go-to for ballistics testing. My manual for LCP MAX that i use for backup/pocket carry says +p is not to be used in it. I am currently shooting the NormaMHP and Barnes TAC-XDP mostly because they have been available and more affordable. Moving forward I am inclined to invest in the non +p Underwoods or go cheaper with the Winchester flat nose FMJ. All based on your testing. Looking forward to the next tests.
Thank you sir. It's some good stuff for sure.😎👍
That 32 was better than I could have imagined
That 380 wound channel looks really cool. Those Philips screw driver bits perform really well.
Mhmm
