Very nice presentation. It would be interesting to me maybe a part 2 lesson in which evaluate the tank water behaviour under seismic conditions (responce spectrum analysis for example) :sloshing problem . It would be interesting if The tank is considered both in under ground conditions and in elevated condition too. Thanks in advice
The local 3 axis of the wall shell usually points inwards to the wall, then why did you give a negative sign for the earth pressure which is acting in the same direction ?
Hello ... engr can you make a video on design of basement wall. is basement wall design is similar to this video cause the forces like soil pressure, water pressure, and surcharge load are mostly similar. if yes then how about saturated soil(pressure formula will same or different) please answer my question The second thing which I want to know is retrofitting a structure using etabs. how retrofitting is done or what are steps to be followed
@@engineeringedu5437 Hi sir, I have the same question with SAEED, can you give the answer on this comment section or on my email hardikaintan17@gmail.com ? it will be helpful thankyou sir🙏🏼
@@engineeringedu5437...Hi sir, how about if my model is comprised of several elements in one side (divided elements for some reasons), is this load application ( value of C & D) are the same to all elements?
Sorry Millan, I was quite busy these days. I am taking up my Masters. Hopefully when I am done, it's a big "Come back" since I'll be sharing some subjects I've learned from the academe...
hallo sir thank you for the amazing tutorial. i followed your steps A to Z however my moments are wrong .i am getting maximum moment of 1.92 instead 12n/m .is it because i am using etab 18. what is the problem. i can forward you the model if i get your email
Clear and very Informative. I subscribed, and expecting to watch more of your structural design tutorials. Thanks! #StayHomeStaySafe #KeepLearning
thank you Sir. Will be doing more and I'll keep you posted.
Dear Angelito, pls continue with base and slab design - excellent work , love
Thank you. I will..
Very nice presentation 🎉❤
Muy buena explicación, gracias por compartirlo.

Best instructional tutorial I have seen on water tanks. keep it up.
can you show some reinforcement related stuff next? thanks
yeahh sure. Thanks...
Nice topic sir! Keep it up!

Brother, take into account the sloshing effect of fluid in the water tank during earthquake....
this is a good input brother..
Hi Sir, I have a question for multiple basements. How can we apply the formula of Load at Point = Cz + D?
Leo Alambra It the same, just model how many levels and apply the principle of Pressure @ that level = Cz+D and consider @ level where z= 0

Please guide, why don't you assign area springs on base slab?
This is etabs model. If I have to design and assign spring support to capture the behavior of the soil, I will do it with SAFE CSI...
Can I model and analyse a basement wall in a similar manner?
