I’m originally from Maryland, and I grew up eating crab cakes. I’m really glad that you put this recipe up, and I’m planning on making some!!
My God on today! I’m a DC native. You just made my family’s crab cakes! I had to order crab classic because they don’t always have it here in NC. The only thing I do differently is that I lightly sauté my finely chopped peppers & onions in a tap of butter. DC & MD know how to do crab like nobody else. I don’t bother ordering them in any of the restaurants here. Only order them out when I’m at home. I never had snow crab in DC. Only blue crab. Love your personality & your energy as well as your recipes❤

Looks good Ty. When I make Crab Cakes I usually hold off on putting the egg in until I've given the seasoned crab meat(raw) a taste to see if I need to add any extra seasoning. Just my opinion and something that I do but we all do it a different way.😋😋😋😋😋

Tobias, I have a question...did you go through the crabmeat first to check for shells? I watch another cook show where someone bought fresh crab meat and didn't go through it first and it had hard pieces when he mixed everything together.
