Oddly enough noodling is my wife's dream thing to go and do. She went as far as too apply to be on Hillybilly Hand Fishing back when it was a show (I can say I have never actually seen it), and was just talking about Hannah and her Dad this past weekend. It seems like you might want to buy a cheap impact wrench to store in the 5 ton to make opening the hood a bit easier. Messing with that many bolts using some adjustable wrenches does not sound fun.

If you rainX the 5 ton windshield you’ll only need the wipers when it’s really coming down! That way you don’t have to hear that noise 🤔

OR you can Wax the windshield with car wax and then apply RainX and then you dont even need it when it comin down hard.

There's a very good chance you guys way over filled it with oil. When oil leaks it L👀Ks like a ton of oil all over the place. But its actually only misting everywhere!! The oil gauge was reading low at idle because it was already warmed up.
cummins 8.3 should hold 40 warm idle everyday. the bearings are wiped, whistlin diesel style.
@@safetyfirstintexas nah the cta8.3 is a high volume low pressure engine. 10psi hot idle 650ish is normal.

You have a really nice 5 Ton truck without a single toolbox? 😂😂
Put a couple layers of sound damper on the underside of the roof. It will make it a little quieter, take a lot of flex out of the roof, and make it a little cooler in the summer.
They have had that before on roof racks. The roll bar tube that is just in front of the windshield is causing the wind to make it happen. They changed the shape of the tube and that fixed the wind from isolating. Same thing on bridges with the wind blowing around the cables causes them to shake and can make sounds.
