I've seen this movie and I was still expecting him to attack her during the sheets part. It's an excellent crafting of tension. The entire "will he won't he" until the reveal at Keith's death was masterful. The film took a nose dive for me afterwards.
I loved the first part of this movie so much, I loved the second half too but the beginning half with him and Tess where they were building up all the suspense was the best to me
this movie is so great because after the trailer you think keith is the villain but then he’s just so sweet?? such a nice and likeable person and you’re like there’s no way he’s the bad guy but still you’re expecting some twist from him. and then you start to care about him cause if he’s not the villain then he’s the victim… and you don’t want him to die… and then THIS happens… i sat with my mouth open for solid 2 minutes. in my head he’s alive and ran away with tess and they are happy together 🥺
Until Keith ass died I thought he was A-Murder B-Rapist C-Rapist and Murderer.. then we met the other guy n I wanted Keith back because that guy actually was all of these things …
That was honestly one of my biggest issues with the film. It's clear that the first act of the film tries to mislead the audience into think that Keith was going to be the main antagonist of the film. The issue is that I feel like the movies tries too hard to mislead everyone to the point where it was clear that Keith wasn't the villain
@@superjackster0165 I saw that as a strength of the film. The misdirection underlined the theme of the danger that women feel, even when it's unwarranted, because it's reasonable to think that the danger *could* be there. Tess had reason not to trust Keith, even though he was a decent guy (assumedly). Tess basically immediately trusted AJ due to circumstances, and he later tried to murder her. There was really no way for her to know for sure about these strangers.
6:47 love the direction. The way his face his obscured by the darkness, and his unperturbed tone. Really perpetuates the feeling that this dude is full of shit
@@AVOK2004 Ahh yeah of course, you’re right they had me thinking he was a bad guy right up until he got killed, even still when he was initially found in the cave.
yes!! i always thought before seeing the movie he was the bad guy in the movie 😭😩 cause movies turn out the way with a bad guy being a killer or something bad like that! and it turns out he was not at all!!!❤
This is random but everyone should watch the episode of Black Mirror that the main character Tess(Georgina Campbell) was in-it’s called Hang the DJ it’s so amazing and the ending gives me chills every time I think about it and it’s definitely one of my favorite Black Mirror episodes ever
Its still wild to accept that if she wouldn't fall for him and didn't come back again after knowing the neighborhood is abandoned...possibly nobody wouldn't have die..well except for AJ Make us wonder what life would be like if we choose different things at different times...if only they don't drink that night....if only they didn't get too close
Filmmakers: This scene might be more important and historic than we already feel. This film was a phenomenon and still doesn’t have a physical edition for purchase.
i liked the first part of this movie nearly more than any other horror i ever watched. didn't like the rest though. i know its recieved very positively by viewers, but acting and plot wise it fell from a cliff for me after keith death. if i had a nickel for every ugly incest story they served me in this genre despite not being a regular at horror... tess kept going back several times to that house reached a point where i felt its not taking itself seriously anymore. would rate it 5/10

Bill Skarsgard played this perfectly: I trust Keith…no I don’t…yes I do…ooohh, I REALLY do…😢
U sound more effin crazy than he came off in this movie
this is exactly what I felt while watching the movie. I thought he's the killer

Oh same, when Keith died I got less interested in the film, he was a darling.
UGH BILL SKARSGARD IS SO CHARMING LIKE HIS EYES AND HIS VOICE AND EVERYTHING ABOUT HIM

This movie taught me how to put the blanket in 😂 i had to come back just to rewatch that part
When he said “bed. bucket. Camera” I lost it 😂😂😂 that was funny
I came back here for duvet scene. It works 😂
Damn I always forget he's so tall.
He's like a therapist I want him to be my therapist if he was one ❤❤
They killed him off way too soon
I agree.. 😭😭😭
There's something James Spader-esque about his acting mannerisms when they're sitting at the kitchen table.
You're right!
I would've dated him 💀😭
Me too. 😭❤️

He actually wasnt full of shit though, turned out to be a completely innocent guy and gets killed shortly after this scene

0:46 wow great job veiling his face in the shadow to make him feel ominous, along w the thunder

He should be by the end of this movie 😢
poor keith was. Just as suspicious as she was

Crazy how she was cautious with Keith, but every other aspect of the movie she made the worst decisions
