Yeah, Kita may actually be my favorite. I love that when Bocchi “beatboxes” at her she just beatboxes back because she doesn’t want Hitori to be embarrassed. She’s such a sweetheart.
What I love about the show is how it actively goes against tropes. It does something similar to my dress up darling. They set up a trope trap. You think they will extend the misunderstanding for comic relief and drama, but instead they communicate and actually address the issues. That gives it a component of realism and relatability not found in most anime
That's a romantic comedy trope so I don't really get your point here I think its just a well executed slice of life/ CGDCT show that has progression, not to mention a lot of its comedy revolves around Bocchi either misunderstanding or overexaggerating and is FULL of tropes done well. If BTR is the anime with the most "realism" you've seen so far, I have some other shows to recommend if you're interested

Shes the jock with a golden heart
I love that she doesn't understand, but plays along anyways. Truly the extrovert we all need in our lives.
A certain drunk girl is my favorite from BTR haha
@@hieioni3354 ah yes, Le Introverted Drunkard
@@ohheylads you could say that lmao
"Her brain is so mean to her"
That's an interesting way to put it lol

i think the misunderstanding tropes for the relief and drama is not bad tho...

@@tofuteh2348 it's not about realism it's about executing good logic beats that don't overstay their welcome. That's why I believe BTR excels at
@@tofuteh2348 what the other show you want to recommend?? it makes me wanna to watch it 😁
I also want to hear Kita sing on this episode when I first watched it then I realized that Kita is the one who's singing in the end credits LoL
She was also doing the opening song, even though she sounds quite different there
If you didn't know already the opening and the 1st ending was sang by Kita and credited as kessuko band.
Kessoku* Band
I loved the show so much, and I re-watch it by watching others react to it.
It is, for me at least, the best anime show from 2022.
#Bocchisweep my friend
Lowkey one of the best show i've ever watched
Yes Bocchi the goat
Lol she can be the GOAT, yes.
This show can be absurd at times, but it's also feels very human. That's what i like the most from Bocchi The Rock.
The comedy is great, but the half-serious moments are very wholesome :)
shes just like me fr fr
