I hope you appreciate me keeping you updated with these videos! Let me know what you think I should do- is it that bad, should I be concerned, what would you do? Thanks! (Links to all websites and Heva Clinic are in the description).

Preciate the update my sista. I just had my 1st transplant (August 2024) at Heva thanks to you. Dey transplanted 4,000 hair grafts and did one prp session. I'm going into month 3 next month (November). Heva did provide me with an after-care specialist I still communicate with. Just based off my research the views varies as to how often and how soon you should get prp sessions after the HT procedure. Since this was my 1st HT I have to see it as an investment and protect it through regular hair maintenance. So I plan to get a 2nd prp session in November then every 3-6 months for the next 3 years because I have to do a 2nd HT procedure for my crown and coverage. I think for you my sista you'll need to invest in prpr sessions for the next 2-3 years, whether it's 1 or 2..

@@BrothaMoe glad yours went well!! It’s good that you’re starting your PRP sessions without delay. I would have done the same if I knew… That’s interesting to hear- it sounds like they’ve improved on a few things since when I did my transplant, which is a good thing. Yeah, I think you’re right regarding maintenance PRP- this is a journey for the long haul!!! 🙈

Babe don’t feel annoyed. Move into a space of gratefulness. Be grateful that you’re only a year post-op and you’re hearing about PRP as opposed to your subscriber who is 4 years post and extremely far gone. Be grateful that you got 4000 graphs (that you were really unhappy about) instead of the 2700 you were quoted. Feel grateful that you have this TH-cam community for support and other channels you can seek out for information. Etc.
Just trying to urge you to shift your mindset bcuz stress is caused by being hyper focused on the issue and not moving into a space of gratitude for the potential solution. Wishing you nothing but love and success on your journey 🥰🙏🏾🥰

I LOVE this! You're so right- it's about reframing my thinking as things could be so much worse or I could have found out even later. You're right about the number of grafts- maybe they will come in handy now given I'm experiencing this sparseness?! Thank you so much for advice- wisest words I've heard all week. I'll DEFINITELY do what you're suggesting. Eternally grateful for your words/comment xxxxx

    Hello
I want to heva clinic in May and I started my PRP in July.
I will do 3 or 6 sessions. I always heard that hair transplantation need maintenance but heva clinic never mentioned that… they only recommend to buy their products and dermaroller.
I think that you should do PRP! You already have been so far to risk to loss your hair again.
It’s really expensive when you make the sum of the hair transplantation and PRP but we have already started the process, so we might as well see it through.
Thanks for your videos and sorry for my English I am french 😊

Thanks for this information- VERY useful! I'm grateful for your input. Also useful to know I'm not the only one they didn't mention it to. You're right! I've come so far, it would be a shame to go backwards. The cost is painful 😅 Thanks for your advice- it helps me make sense of things in my head, too. There's nothing wrong with your English- no need to apologise!

Hi I have a question, did you go forward with the prp treatment included in the transplant package and then do prp in your home place/state if you traveled?

@@akirafudosceiling yes, I have done my first session of PRP 2 months after my hair transplant in my home country.
The PRP session at heva clinic is included and they did it to you right after the hair transplant. It’s nice because you still have the anesthesia and do not feel anything.

Im thinking of going to HEVA do you recommmend? I think the reason why your hair is thinning could be because of the braids and hair styles you have. It’s recommended to not have tight hair styles after a transplant.

@TheWellnessAbbey yes try to avoid any type of pressure on your hair. Try to go natural. there are plenty of tutorials for our natural short hair. I was always 4c natural with short hair. Avoid braiding, wigs etc, and let your scalp breathe. I'm sure you'll end up finding your hairstyle. Courage 💜

Rachel is it a few amongst the many that experience this 5 years after their hair transplant or instead the masses? Please be more transparent; it's imperative these hair transplant clinics reveal this to there costumers who are desperately seeking help to address hair loss issues. Thank You Rachel.

    • @TheWellnessAbbey

Hey, bro. The 4 year thing is what Angela said about her own personal journey. I haven't seen it or something similar referenced elsewhere. I also don't know if the masses experience this. That's why I'm showing you the info I can find on the Internet in the screenshots- the info available isn't much but does seem to suggest/agree that ongoing PRP is beneficial for maintenance. It doesn't clearly indicate whether it's "required". Same with when I asked Heva in the message I read out to you- they said it's "beneficial" but didn't say its mandatory. I'm giving you all the info I know and asking for yall's input!
