These in a store in Tuscany in italy. Very expensive to buy. Easy to make. I saw they bunches about 12 together to make a chandelier.

How do I hang something like this? It's a little heavy so I don't want it to fall

It looks like this video implies that you simply let it hang by it's own wire; which is not a good idea because, as you pointed out, the glass is quite heavy. This can cause the wire to rip, tear, and damage the light. I recommend re-enforcing the hang with some twine, string, rope, or other material.Wrap it around the neck of the bottle (skinny part) and tie it off, leaving two long ends for you to hang your bottle with. Make sure the string is slightly shorter in the end then the wire from where you're hanging it so you put the weight on the string not the wire.

When you run the electrical wire through the neck of the bottle, also run a wire, tied to a washer larger than the neck, to suspend the bottle and run the electrical wire through the washer.

Ikea type lamp wire is thick enough to hang most things, in fact that's how they were meant to be used, their shades are about as heavy as a bottle. Screwing a hook into the ceiling is just a matter of using the right sized hook/screwing into a stud(find with stud finder) or using a toggle bolt. It needs to be a bit heavy or the wire won't hang straight. Just google Sekond cord set or HEMMA, you may have to replace the plug or take apart the head to fit it through though.

Do you submerge the burning string in acetone or water?

Cold water, the difference in temperature helps the glass to break

Do never try to cut a bottle this was it just leaves edges, you have to score/pre ingrave your bottle and then use hot water and cold water until it separates. Oh and remove the cork or it makes a bang.

This is rubbish. We tried this same and the bottle blasted. Luckily no one was hurt.

This is the worst way to cut a bottle, the edge is way more jagged and will take a solid hour or more to sand/polish it down. The final products looks sloppy and amateur.
