Thanks John! A story indeed, it's crazy. Mig-9 up next which is not going to be fun at all honestly...has a vacuum formed canopy and I have no clue how to do those
I don't know much about aircraft but I agree with you on the design on this one. Love the lines on her on the cowl with the gun ports and exhaust looks Really Cool!!! Bummer on the lost footage. The chipping looks okay to me. Nice build Joe. Thanks for sharing
You're right about the chipping Joe, it does draw the eye, but ignoring this I love the colour modulation you achieved on the green brother. The weathering is subtle and works really well too. Well done Joe.👏👏👏👏
Thanks Richard! All I can think about when I say or hear curse of the mig is the Brady Bunch when they go on vacation and the tiki necklaces cursed them
A very nice model with a great result, Joe's. Good paintwork with a also good weathering and chipping has brought this MiG to a cool model. Best wishes, Joachim
Very cool. Sorry to hear it fought you. It still looks cool. If it was tape residue, you could use ump airbrush cleaner and a soft cloth or paper towel to lightly rub it off. Other wise, given you had clear on it, you could try tamiya polishing compound to rub it out. Just for future info.
Thanks Justin, I just can't be allowed around the AK weathering pencil apparently lol. Yeah I used the novice compound 2 which also removes residue and it wasn't coming off, so I figured the paint ate into the paint or the chipping fluid made the tape bite into it.
Despite the issues, the Mig-3 came out great, buddy! I love the Mig-3, so it was a pleasure to see it on your bench. Thank you for the shout out too. I had fun with mine, so hopefully it helped with ideas and things for you. Honestly, it is a great kit, I'd build another one in a heartbeat. In fact, I still need to build the "late" version. Oh yeah, the curse...I believe that it wants to remind us that it is still lurking around, just incase we get too comfortable lol! Still, great job! I'm looking forward to the next instalment and the Mig-9.
It was a fantastic little kit and I would get another in a heartbeat honestly. That MF curse of the mig man...I swear! LOL. Always happy to give you a shout out man, especially when you have to listen to me complain about the curse on texts haha. Ugh the mig 9 is not going to be fun, it has a vacuum formed canopy which I've never done before.
@@MadGeniusProductions_MGP OOO yeah Vacuum formed canopies can be a bit of a pain, but a sharp blade and lots of care and you'll be alright. Looking forward to it!
Great build ! 👌👍
Thank you so much!
What a story! Despite it all, it came out great. Looking forward to the series. 👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you so much Mike. Yaks and Migs, I think they are pretty cool aircraft designs

I shouldn't be trusted around AK aluminum pencils ever again lol. Thanks Al!
Looks great all the same Joe, not only do you have the curse of the Mig it's also halloween time! 👍😎

Thanks Dave! I'm hoping the curse ends itself soon
