The fact that these guys are blatantly less recognized if compared to Loudness or X-Japan is a complete travesty to me. But then again, Japan's metal scene in general works in often weird ways and of course, I meant no disrepect to Loudness or X-Japan as they have solid works as well.
I feel like with Anthem they had so many lineup change, so many albums yet so little coverage. Not a lot of interview, not a lot of live footage. I'm biased because X is my favorite band but they've only change member once, less albums and there is so many live footage. It's easier to find yourself in it. Also probably labels behind them. X went from playing clubs to the tokyo dome in like 2 years. Dunno who was behind funding all this but they must have had a hella of a team
@@efwfew well, now that you mention it, also it has a lot to do with a combination of all those factors and of coruse, the timing... By the time Anthem came up, basically there was this explosion of heavy metal bands so it was complicated to take one or two and make them popular... But then again, that's just my opinion...
The music video for The Juggler was filmed at this concert
I feel like this is going to get way more views after Razorfist's documentary on Anthem 🎸🤘
RAZORFIST DONE ANTHEM, BEEN WAITING YEARS FOR THAT
I respectfully demand a source.
@@isaacl.baldeonguerra1623 I don't think TH-cam allows direct links anymore, but I'll try.
Great stuff, thanks for sharing!!
This kicks ass! 🤘🎸🔥
Yup!!
BEST MEMBER !

Akihito Kinoshita's Saber Tiger power
Yeah I always say this too. Anthem is definitely one of Japans pillars of metal no questions

I really prefer Eizo but Yukio put more feeling in the vocals.
Remember that Takamasa is the one who has the nickname "MAD" not Hiroya. Thanks for upload!
Paha my mistake
who uploaded it to youtube? I love you
:)
Play "love on the edge" in this show?
Sadly not
@@MLBFCollectionis there even any full concert footage of the No Smoke Without Fire tour?
It's 1989 it's just the video has been taped over and over again and so is in much lower quality than the original tape wherever it may be
