This is really cool. Thank you for doing the breakdown. I’ve worked on some TV and web animation where we are encouraged to keep the animated bodies static and just move the mouth, to save time and money. However I like the idea of moving the characters body around to liven up the scene
Moving only the mouth obviously saves time and budget. But doing all body movement will take so much time and money for it. Depends on the production and vision intended. The mouth movement alone is more of an anime type approach. It has less expression, but playing around it with cuts of environment makes up a little bit for it.
I've seen the progress of this animation shot from the beginning when you started it and have seen it transform into this very advanced cool looking video, and I have learnt so much through the process, thanks AMB
It does indeed however much of the more challenging aspects covered in my tutorials are specific to drawing but yes the fundamental principles and laws covered apply to all other mediums of animation as well.
