Thanks buddy. I was days away from taking my DC08 up to the recycle plant thinking it was dying. It took me a couple of hours being ultra careful but it was the manifold all cloggeg up. Now I can't lift the hoover from the carpet. You saved me a pretty penny. Good luck to you.

It is very very fragile, just gentle prise with a small screwdriver to be honest
