Feeding Programme | The Turning Point Trust

Without food, many children in Kibera resort to begging on the street or carrying out small casual jobs to earn some money to buy food. They are unable to attend school daily or even resort to dropping out entirely. The streets can be dangerous for the children because they are exposed to abuse, crime, and drugs.
Turning Point’s Feeding Programme provides daily meals to the children attending our education programs. This is a major way of encouraging them the attend school and in turn helps them improve their learning outcomes.
