Where do you get the materials, to create such a machine, which can withstand the strikes of other god? How do you create power which is equal to the power of a god if destruction? My theory as well. The biggest give away is his hair. The angels have truly mastered the technique. I also believe that once you truly master UT you can no longer live among mortals. I’m probably completely wrong though but it is fascinating.

Yes. I believe Geekdom got that point wrong. The strongest fighter Beerus has ever fought was Champa....not Whis. Whis is his master and obviously stronger, but I doubt they've ever gotten into a real fight. Angels aren't allowed to fight their gods.... only to teach an assist.

I feel like the biggest weakness of Whis is the fact that he is neutral. For all of his powers, I don't think he has the ability to use any of them as he wants. He has only ever used any of these powers in relation to the stability and balance of Universe 7 or because it was willed by a being higher than him in the hierarchy. Most of the things he does himself casually are played up for laughs, but the biggest things mentioned were either because not doing them would have serious ramifications on Universe 7 in the long run, or for the sake of Beerus, his father, or the Omni Kings. Outside of food, Whis doesn't even seem to want anything on his own, so that apathy means that no matter how OP he is, he will probably rarely break the world of Dragon Ball unless they need him to Deus Ex Machina something.

Maybe it's kinda like Cupid in Greek mythology, like technically you can make the claim that Cupid is the strongest god, because of the ramifications of him not shooting his arrows has on the other gods and the world. Yet there are still gods stronger than him if he shoots his arrows as normal. So like maybe Whis maybe the strongest technically, but there may be characters who are stronger than him is x = y per se.

Well the first Dragonball Super series reached a climax point with Jiren and MUI Goku that was above the level of the gods of destruction. I like the idea that the characters have "still enough room to grow" for the second series.

You got look at the Grand Priest has more mentor to Whis as like Whis is mentor to Beerus, Goku and Vegeta. Grand Priest just has more years of battle of experienced then is son. True we don't true knowledge of what combat Whis actually has except that he has Mastered Ultra instinct can use very easily. It seem Whis himself is lacking on some knowledge of what Grand Priest has over him. Either just more year over him of battle experience or Grand Priest seeing some flaws that Whis has in his fighting skills. It is nice how low key Whis is with that power of his. I mean people complain left and right about Jiren, or Broly, or whatever being too powerful, but it's what one does with that power which matters most, and Whis is proof of that because he's the strongest, but he wears that status well and acts as the master. Hadn't watched dragon ball since the cell saga and thought i'd check out newer stuff, first thing i watched was the beerus movie and then the universe tournament thing, and I fell in love with Whis. Beerus is also fucking cool, they did a really great job with these guys
In the broly movie he is targeted by broly right before gogeta arrives and takes over. Broly was already in raged out mode and he was dodging his attacks like he was playing with a child. Broly literally beat the shit out of frieza , goku and vegeta and was mentioned to probably be stronger then beerus ... he was laughing while dancing around him :'(

That's a good way to make a great story arc ! Because no matter how strong they become they will never be able to face the "Fallen Angel" in his true form. It's like biblical facts, fighting any divine or unholy power as just a mere human is basically suicide or death. Satan/Lucifer is second to God in power so if they apply this to Dragon Ball Super, "The Fallen Angel" should be almost as strong as Grand Priest (his Father/God) and only be possibly challenged by other angels or those empowered by God aka Grand Priest. What if the 6,10,15 power scale was not a linear scale but an exponential scale. 10^6 is 1 million 10^10 is 10 billion and 10^15 is 1 quadrillion. This shows a bigger difference in power just as the show implies. Goku needs to be 10,000 times more powerful in order to even reach Berrus level, Which Goku surpassed only after ultra instinct(and he can’t even do it on command). I do believe that Goku now is actually around a 9 going with this scale.
With the introduction of a Divine Ki, (Super Saiyan God)... I always felt Beerus and Whis were always several magnitudes stronger than Goku. Makes more sense if Beerus is like 100 Magnitudes above Goku and perhaps Whis is 1000 of higher.

Knowing Toriyama's antics, it might just be revealed that Whis and the other angels can't take a punch but are incredibly skillful at pressing the dodge button.
Just how nonchalant whis is makes him one of my favorite characters. We don't know the limits to his power and he can effortlessly take on any character in the whole series minis his dad and obviously Zeno.
My theory is that there may be an ark with a villain who is an angel fallen from grace sort of like Lucifer in the bible. That way we can see whis and/or other Angels at full power
That's a good way to make a great story arc ! Because no matter how strong they become they will never be able to face the "Fallen Angel" in his true form. It's like biblical facts, fighting any divine or unholy power as just a mere human is basically suicide or death. Satan/Lucifer is second to God in power so if they apply this to Dragon Ball Super, "The Fallen Angel" should be almost as strong as Grand Priest (his Father/God) and only be possibly challenged by other angels or those empowered by God aka Grand Priest. The duo of angel and god of destruction in every universe in DB is like two sides of a single coin, order (creating, altering) and chaos (destroy, annihilate)
What if the 6,10,15 power scale was not a linear scale but an exponential scale. 10^6 is 1 million 10^10 is 10 billion and 10^15 is 1 quadrillion. This shows a bigger difference in power just as the show implies. Goku needs to be 10,000 times more powerful in order to even reach Berrus level, Which Goku surpassed only after ultra instinct(and he can’t even do it on command). I do believe that Goku now is actually around a 9 going with this scale.
With the introduction of a Divine Ki, (Super Saiyan God)...
I always felt Beerus and Whis were always several magnitudes stronger than Goku.
Makes more sense if Beerus is like 100 Magnitudes above Goku and perhaps Whis is 1000 of higher.
