Thanks for the video, Chris! I work in the screen printing industry as a designer and had to pick up one of these xtool presses. I've found if you flood > print > flood the pigment wont get stuck in the mesh. Love your videos, about to switch from procreate to fresco!!
Great video as always, Chris! As a screen printer by trade, i gotta say, printing posters is significantly harder than printing shirts. These look awesome! Thanks for the dope content. You’re a big inspiration.
Thanks so much! I assumed shirts would be a lot harder as you don’t have the consistent size to help with alignment. But maybe I’m thinking about it wrong.
Ive been using DTF for my tee shirts and hoodies, but have been REALLY thinking about moving to screen printing. Thanks for this! puts a lot of things in perspective! Also ive been trying to get a standing desk to sponsor me forever lol. That flexispot is so dope!
I absolutely love it. No issues at all and I’m a heavy user. I do 95% of my drawing on it. The screen still looks brand new. I have a video coming next week where I talk about different iPad options for illustrators/artists and I talk more about my experience up to date with the new iPad and the nano texture. Aside from the price it’s amazing.
Chris wanted to thank you so much for these videos and you are such an inspiration thank you for taking the time to make the very useful videos to the masses and educating us on your art styles and what works for you! Keep it going hoping we run into each other in the future! =]
I’m not sure if this is the right place to reach out but I’m having a very difficult time with a logo I drew that I’m attempting to turn into a vector logo in illustrator. I’m desperate to make this myself but I’m really frustrated with trying to get colored but it’s just not working properly. If there’s anyway I can correspond with you, show you the image and maybe have you tell me what I’m doing wrong? I would extremely appreciate it
@@chris-piascik the outlines, yes. But the original was on paper. I ended up just using the fill and tracing the area I need to color and it didn’t turn out bad. Literally figured it out this am but I do appreciate the reply
You are very meticulous while creating a design. Does this work ethic stem from the years of blading and learning tricks? At least that's my experience, it somehow translated into other parts of life.

These turned out great! Fun watching you run into all the common problems home printers run into. And yeah, I love the imperfections!
Thank you!
definitely MAKE SOMETHING GLOW!
I’ll have to do that for the next one!

5:23 love the self-restraint from saying “perfect” or some other absolute statement ✌️
lol, thanks!

With water based ink keeping the screen flooded is key, but you can also use a spray bottle to keep things good and wet.
Thanks for the tip!
I love your video production. My screen printing is fresco.
Awesome! Thank you! For most cases that’s the same for me too!
Make it glow! Please and thank you 🙏 😂
I’ll have to try that for next time!

Ah yeah, I’ve found DTF to be hit or miss, but I’m partial to screen printed shirts. Glad this was helpful!
Now I need both of these tools. :)
Haha they are fun!
jealous of your set up
thanks! I'm happy to have it.
Chris what are your thoughts on the ipad pro, with the nano screen I have watched all your content but wondering how's it going after 6 months?

I might not be the best person to answer an illustrator specific question, but there are a lot of variables. Did you draw the logo in Illustrator?

Hmm maybe, but I was sort of like this with drawing from a very early age. I think it’s likely just my personality or the way I am. Very obsessive.
