Honestly placing the priestess next to the Elder Dragon, and referencing "Super Friends" playstyle, I suddenly realized what the really fun deck building appeal is of Elder Dragon (or at least finally got the words to describe it):
Shurima is all about "Champions Matter",
Elder Dragon is all about "Followers Matter".

ED have a nice region, but the issue with origin is the lack of restriction to get the boons, the only other champion that gave a passive effect was bard and he have a region restriction and you have to play 3 of to get full befenit, and it still got out of control at some point, ED origin is not a restriction, it open possibility, so why does it get such a strong effect on top of it, the other comparison would be Jhin, he have a nice origin that would open many door if he wasn't design as a full aggro, so since teh region is a benefit, the origin benefit is very small and you still need to play 3 of to really get the full benefit.

Because it sets itself to a certain cost instead of discounting. If the effect of reaching 10 mana gems would be to make Winter's touch 3 mana less, it would be affected by Joraal.

Buffing units in this kind of top-heavy deck is a bit redundant already. getting +1/+1 for two units in deck at turn 5 is just not very impactful, since you are going to outmuscle your opponent anyway. And when you're facing mid-range Demacia, you really wanna keep board clean, otherwise you just might get swarmed.

17:00 An easy way to see how much power you have during an attack... Is by watching the damage preview on the enemy Nexus. There's a big -34 there XD
If you don't have abilities like Annie that you have to remove from the equation, easy calcs

At the elusive game mogwai lose bcz he didnt played the elder dragon to heal his Nexus last turn. there isnt any card can deal 5 damage in one action.
