Funny thing : so many people are playing mono black discard I have met people who play that baloth (4/4 for 4 if it gets discarded by an opponent effect you put it directly on the battlefield) in their deck. And I find that hillarious anyways yeah lot of monoB discard which is why I am switching to decks that use the graveyard more than the hand xD

Self mill beat down is so simple yet surprising at the same time. It power creeps outta nowhere for the two shot victory with 10/10 creatures, lol. There are a few things more satisfying then watching mono red lose to a slow turn 3 starting deck too 😂

I know exactly how you feel about punting, especially in that first game where you missed out on damage from not kicking Lhurgoyf. I've made too many fuckups in this game to count, and it gets to me, even the day after. You hold yourself accountable, and you move on. Just remember, at the end of that match, you still won.
Would love to see your version of a cruelclaw deck, I'm sure it'd be incredible as always. And yes you are correct I'm so tired of facing mono black discard on the ladder. Have seen it in gold all the way to mythic somehow. It's so boring to fight as well.
Mogwai, do you plan on making a brawl gameplay ? Some fun commander like Laughing Jasper? I think it would be a fun way to take a break from all the mono red and mono black in standard ranked these days.
you could up the ante and go full cards that cost less for each creature in grave (like hollow marauder and writhing necromass) + up beanstalk + glarb (since they are all mana value 4+) and just vomit the deck on the board.
Running a similar style of deck: a few thoughts... 1) No Glarb?? this is exactly the deck for him lol 2) Rubblebelt Maverick I think is a strict upgrade to the 1-drop milling rat that you have in there 3) Chupacabra is a good idea! Made that change for mine... 4) Hollow Marauder is another creaturee like the Swarm that is solid
1) While Glarb COULD fit this deck, I personally don't see enough synergy considering it requires me to have sultai mana online by 3. I have other plans for Glarb though! 2) This Sultai list is dense on black, if you inspect the list you'll notice my green plays are 3+ cost, which enables me to run a lower count of green lands. Vermin is also very good in this meta IMO, to deter early aggressions and kill off them DAMN BATS. THEY EVERYWHERE. 3) Yeah I slept on Chupacabra echo for far too long myself haha 4) Hollow Marauder is a dope suggestion! Not sure what I'd take out for it though, I feel like it kind of competes with Swarm and I prefer Swarm.

My list at the end of this comment for reference. 1) I've found Glarb to be extremely solid for turning a neutral/slightly behind boardstate into a dominant one; even had a couple games where I was basically dead and then topdecked him and fought back into it. Playing multiple Swarms/Maurauders from the top of the deck is incredible and he helps you dig as well. I've had a couple games where I only had B/U lands early, but it's not too vital to have him hit on turn 3, he's good all game long. May just be luck so far but mana hasn't been too big an issue in general. 2) Looks like this is just our lists being different, haha; our mill setup is pretty different. Mine runs almost as much Green as black (aftermath analyst has the benefit of also being a removal magnet despite not being a combo in this deck). I value the Surveil a lot since if you have a Glarb out or need to set up your next draw(s), it allows you to do that. I might try them out instead of Faerie Dreamthief; but then again the draw ability from the graveyard is also rather good... worth testing though. 4) I feel like they complement each other, more than anything. Marauder is surprisingly fragile but is a good beater in the air when it sticks, and puts you up on card advantage, where the Swarm is just an insanely efficient body that helps to stabilize and then punch in. I love your deckbuilding mog and I would love to watch your gameplay more but I watch on mobile, and I gotta say, mtg is really not mobile friendly with every card having a paragraph of tiny text
The problem I have with MTG is that it's extremely expensive. It takes a long time to build a single deck, like 2TP, and even when I calculate how much I get if I pay the price of a AAA game, it basically gets me nowhere, so it's not even worth putting money into it. The decks and strategies are cool, but unfortunately, I always look at the potential timeline and see that it will take maybe 2 months to reach that point. I think this is also the reason for the low number of views. There's a certain number of people who only watch decks with the colors they play.
saying new chupa is better is just mean to old chupa he could destroy a creature if something beats new chupas amount of -x then old chupa wouldve just killed it statline doesnt matter when you are just using it for effect
Easy deck to play if you show no games against Rakdos Prowess that hits more than 1 land drop in the first 3 turns. The second match against Rakdos is impossible to win.
