Beautiful home! So glad you mentioned all the extra outlets you added. Especially the floor outlets in the great room. Many people don't think of that until they move in. You really need to think ahead of the layout the furniture so you can accommodate lamps, phone changers, or electric recliners. Also love the idea of outlets for holiday lights. We put outlets above the cabinets for holiday lights. One thing we missed was an extra outlet in our laundry room for all the cordless vacuums, sweepers, roomba, dust buster, etc. So many things are chargeable these days. We also put outlets with usb ports on each side of the bed in the master, and in outlets we thought were near where we though beds would go in the kids rooms.
Great idea on all the outlets David!! You're right though, its really difficult to try and think of everything when you're planning a new build. I wish we would have done outlets above the cabinets, thats a great idea! I also missed an extra outlet in the laundry room and another floor outlet on the stairs for holiday decorations. Thanks for sharing, thats great advice!
Hey Liz, thanks for watching and thanks for the kind words. We were happy with them. I'm sure every builder has their flaws. We are very happy with their quality and flexibility. They're easy to work with and will do just about anything for a price. The major issues we had with them was a lack of communication and issues with contractors not showing. Otherwise, we're very happy with our build!
