Kids are that way. My son always knew when a toy was missing, he would even take me into his room to help him look for it! 😂 I never gave anything away unless I checked with him, only to make sure it was something he outgrew. I never threw anything away, I believe in repurposing and would donate items and even sold some at yard sales. I was thankful some other child could enjoy items he outgrew. My son also had those exact bins you repurposed from your in laws, his were dark blue. He got a lot of use out of them.
Hi Lauren, great motivation! You’re doing such a great job juggling everything with two small children. 👏🏻👏🏻Some healthy snack options I enjoy are apples 🍎 🍏 & peanut 🥜 butter, a pickle wrapped in a slice of turkey, celery, 🫑 peppers, carrots & cucumbers all washed sliced in containers ready to go. Guacamole 🥑 and crackers are another good option. Hope that gives you some helpful tips! Have a blessed day. ❤❤
I love that it doesn’t look like you have a mansion. You have a smaller home like me. More relatable. Thanks for sharing and inspiring me to do swapping of toys in our attic too!
Hi Lauren, my daughter was the same way… always knew when a toy was missing or anything was changed in her room! I have found that organization is key. Every house we bought was larger than the last & we filled it up all the same. 😊
Maybe you could put Oliver's dresser in his closet, and then stack the Nugget on top of the dresser. Then if you put the fiddle tree somewhere else in the house, he will have the entire bedroom floor space for his toys. You could also get another big clear tote and use it as a toy box in the room. Maybe everything would fit into it and be in one place. Easy to throw it all in. Just an idea😊
So when my twins were a little younger and had quite a few toys, I elevated their beds so I could store totes under there. I also got the over the door shoe bags to hang inside their closet doors and kept smaller toys in there. You can get the ones with clear plastic so he can see which ones he wants. I totally get the no healthy snacks thing. Little Debbies certainly are not good for you. Nor is really anything else that is processed, including crackers. I suggest looking into thrive market as they have a lot more organic healthy brands. For snacks we make smoothies out of fresh fruit and yogurt, or we eat a Honeycrisp apple, grapes, strawberries or a banana. Organic is best. You can also make homemade granola bars out of homemade granola. Hannah’s happy home always has a recipe for that in her video description. Be sure you use the organic oats so you don’t get a ton of glyphosate.
I have followed you for years and love your content! 😊 I'm in my late twenty's and we have three little girls.🥰🥰🥰 Our youngest is coming up on a year old....& with all three I struggled with postpartum depression. I want to make sure you doing okay? ❤️ I noticed the negative comments and I am here to say you are doing great!🥰 Snuggle the baby.....put fish on the tree and ignore the crazy comments 😜
We love cashew chicken. A little tip for you that I stumbled across, buy raw unsalted cashews and toast them in the oven until golden brown and use those in the cashew chicken, game changer and so yummy. I buy raw nuts of all kinds at our local grocery store in the bulk section and toast them up and store in jars that seal and they last for a long time and taste so good. If you want salted nuts, salt them as soon as they come out of the oven and the oils in the nuts will soak up the salt before they cool. Have a great day!
I stopped rotating toys and just put some aside and waited until someone asked… and they never did! We focused on keeping open ended toys. Oh, and I just read 100 Days of Real Food and love her snack food ideas list!
Hey Lauren; Happy Saturday. I feel like I have more ingredients in my pantry and only a couple of snack options. I try not to snack that much and eat more meals. I love that Oliver knows that a toy is missing. 😅 I enjoyed this ultimate declutter and deep clean video. 😊🥰
Wow Lauren! Great cleaning motivation and decluttering. Quite a lot you did in this video. I am sure Oliver appreciated all that you did for him with his room and toys. 🙂❄️
I agree that tree looks funny takes up alot of room makes it look cluter if you don't have a place in your house. Store it in the garage til you have a place
A healthy snack suggestion lesser evil popcorn the 2 best flavors is the Himalayan salt flavor and the butter flavor one it's healthy because they cook them in coconut oil I have 4 kids with my husband and it's truly a staple in my home❤
We do cheese, pepporoni, salami crackers, and almonds for snacks. My kids love yogurt also for a snack, but I know what you mean it's hard to keep healthy snacks on hand.
We're doing a high protein diet and homemade stuff that we can make from scratch. But you really can't deprive yourself of a few snacks. We take turns cooking, but I'm definitely the baker
You should try the Dawn spray for your hand washed dishes, it’s so great. 😀 What you could do with Oliver’s toys you put in the new tote is put them away somewhere he can’t see and if he doesn’t ask for anything in a few months, just donate it all. 👍🏻
I have snacks in my Pantry for the kids’ lunches! I go to Aldi for their snacks though! My weakness are corn chips - which I did buy at Aldi today and eating while watching lol😂
Scotch-Brite Cooktop Pad for Glass Stovetops, Chemical-Free, 2 Count from Amazon work so great on glass top stoves I’ve never had a spot I couldn’t remove with it , good luck, I love your videos
Hi Lauren! I watch Randy Kay’s channel here on TH-cam.. it’s all about NDEs if you’re interested!.. if that’s not the channel you were already referring to! 💕
Thanks for the great video motivation today❤❤ We just got Walmart delivery to our neighborhood. Maybe one of your viewers can help just curious how much they usually have to add for a tip. Thanks :-)
Lauren, If your son has toys he doesn't play with and you store them away why not give those to kids that are not as fortunate as your son? I know there are organizations that would take them for children that don't have much. That would be so nice of you to do. Thank you for sharing. Blessings 🫶🤗❤️
Oh, agree on the tree, get that out of there, his room is too small. He doesn’t need decor. He is a little boy, that way you have more space for the things he loves.
Hey Lauren, I look forward to all your videos. Just one thing, on this one the sound was really off. I’d have to turn it way up to hear your voice and then the music blasted. That’s never really happened before so I just wanted to let you know, I’m not sure if anyone else has that happen to them.
