Badeni had no chance to escape with his scars.... he is easy to recognize... ;__; I am grateful they didn't show us too much the beating and torture of our poor Oczi. I am in pain...
Badeni is not what people think he is. He seems aloof and uncaring on the outside. But actually he cares about Oczy and Jolenta a lot, like when he tried to stop Oczy fighting Nowak, when he tries to stop Nowak from torturing Oczy and when he does not give away Jolenta. He is just a misunderstood person, like how in the church people spread bad rumours about him just based on how he comes across on the outside.
He doesn't watch this anime every week hoping that the heliocentric theory will be completed. He watches this hoping that Novak will suffer from the bottom of his heart.
