"Admit it! You're desperate for attention... Terry!" The "t" in CTG stands for Terry! Thanks for the boring science stuff none of us want to do ourselves.
I was wondering at some point do I realy need 3 workers per 1 mineral and this video answers on my question, and same thing for blimp on ally mins (about "bonus" energy from ally's workers i already knew because it was obviously for me since they dont have passive ability like mengsk's workers). Ty you CtG :)
In the first test you had 3 workes on the first mineral patch and only one drone on the second mineral patch ; counter clockwise , starting from the 12'ish o'clock one. Skewed I tell's ya.
Did you happen to try with Raynor and mules? Because they mine independently from other workers it's possible they could gather 1 more time than normal (which I still doubt), and over the course of a game could be worth it.
"... If your ally is a tourist." lol My friend is a diamond player. He actually used only 2 workers per patch. I just simply said "we don't do that here" mimicking black panther voice.
So here we have it, the final results that prove the true and full benefits of parking a blimp over a Zerg or Protoss base and steaming life feed of the great Emprah Mengst to rally support for his cause. Next week: Verification that it works even better for Terran players! Now we have seen these numbers I will insist that I get my copy of Donny Vermillion parked up there to distract my mineral line as early as possible, before they get their gas online, so they can gaze upon his fabulous hair. Or I could build a missile turret (or a regional equivalent). In all 4 bases. Because my ally ignores detectors and sometimes you have post DT anxiety issues regardless of facing Zerg or Terran matchups.

You can see for yourself the actual results in whatever speed you want and even perform it yourself.
This is the kind of research I was looking for.
And honestly, why would he be useful to his allies... That would be against his character...
Exactly! The right question would be how would his allies be useful to him!

Alternatively, the T... is for Terrazine.

Not worth it unless your ally enjoys hearing all those speeches. XD
20min video and probably 5h of work, Thank you. #Science
BORING SCIENCE STUFF!
Love these small pieces of science stuff. Actually it would be nice to summarize all these piece of knowledge somewhere.

Yes, last month. They harvest 270 with indoctrination, and 270 without. No benefit.
@@CtG-Games As I suspected. Thanks!
And beside, lets be real here. I don't think Raynor need much of a boost in term of minerals.

It's not a bad idea if he plays Abathur or Vorazun. They're both gas heavy anyway and don't mind losing a few minerals.
was your ally lvl5 and did he build the upgrade or ells it doesnt work for getting "Commander Points"
The answer is at 18:00 and the answer is no. That was painful.
What about two Arcturus? Or if your ally is Terran? Maybe that has more of an effect?
The exact same thing.
but doesnt it give mengsk energy when indoctrinating allies? or am i way off
Its gives you energy when indoctrinate your workers and meat sheilds
Nope. Not for allies. Only your own workers and troopers give you energy when indoctrinated.
Thanks for this one!
Thanks for watching!
What about gas harvest? Anyway Stettman's satelites with speed acceleration are much better profit imo
You'll maybe get a tiny benefit on maps with far gases, but it's not worth the cost of an Imperial Witness.
@@CtG-Games ye seems so, thanks for investigate!
Hi, stupid but big question: how do you set ur portrait next to the nexus, CC or hive???
It's your clan's portrait

Mengsk doesn't help anyone and Mengsk doesn't trust anyone's help
The only benefit from this is that your allies workers gain increased movement speed... That's it. But other than that, pretty much nothing else.
I am a year late in watching this, but a useful video! Used to park the witnesses up there, now I know not to do that in the future...
Glad it was helpful!
When I have to actually watch the video for results
Thank you for watching! I appreciate your view!
Because knowledge is power!
Terry says that's unscientific.
I must know now!
Now you know!

We don't need to talk to those people. This is about sensible people who believe in science.
Because science
ive honestly found mengsk to be a bit.... crappy i guess?
No idea bout i've always done it, lol.
TLDW: Not worth it.
TheGiantBunnysaid It's a straight up no benefit at all. Not even not worth.
