Great job Sim, those trees look really great, well done mate. Top job and many thanks for sharing your tree building methods with us. It's a very useful skill and one that most of us will need at some time or another. Many thanks and have fun, Joe
Thanks for a great video, after watching I was inspired to have a go. Went for an oak style tree used the seafoam and then flocked with sawdust, and even if I do say so myself it turned out brilliant. Many thanks again for the inspiration.
Simplest and most efficient tutorial thank you!!! I wonder if it would be slightly more realistic to start with 8 strands bifurcated then twist 4 together as tree branches are thicker by base and then gradually do 4 to 2? Anyway cheers mate great vid
Excellent as always, I am convinced there is not one thing that you cant turn your hand to Simmo, bloody excellent video, all my work will ultimately just look like me coping what you do. More disturbingly is your comment early on about buying your good lady flowers..... mmmmm I hope you had done something really wrong and that was you trying to get back into the good books, otherwise I will have to revise my views on your masculinity :) On the other side of the ledger, good on you for sending the Ent King some trees that actually look like trees, I can see him watering them for years and wondering why they aren't growing at all :)
mate I'm so excited, ha ha ha , let me know I'll cover your postage ! did you say Florest wire ,? beez and Greg have sent me some bits for trees ! they are great ! can't wait to get yours . I tried your hang out tonight but it just won't work ! ggggrrr
LOL, Ents were in the Lord of the Ring, the walking talking trees that ripped down Sauramans lair, your tree, well the thing you made that you were passing off as a tree looked like an Ent :)
awesome.... really, but my english is not so good, I did not understand what you used for the ends of the branches. could you point me here? thank you so much

The powder added to the glue was decorators filler you can get from any DIY shop many thanks Sim
What size do you make the trees for 1/35th scale. I know you said it is interpretative, just wondering the height?
Could you mix in the base coat colour into the filler/PVA/water mix to stop any white bits showing at any stage? :) Lovely looking trees fella
Yes you could mix painting with the base plaster it is just personal preference many thanks Sim
its easy when the "sea foam branch is free from bushes around your house...which we don"t have em here....
Can you advise materials for tree trunks and leaves and where to get them please.
Again Mr Kemp works his magic.
Thank you Beez

1/35 Scale Diorama Builds : thanks a lot!
How is that 1/35 scale? A 60ft tree in 1/48 O scale that I model in is 15" tall.
10:00 baby powder?
the harsh truth about superglue ...
If just been a cheapskate n picked all the sparkler wires up from bonfire night lol
