The way he supports Carlin and gave up his dream job that he worked for even though there were other people that could help Carlin and be there to help with the kids, Evan says nope, nothing on Earth is more important than being by Carlin’s side, and taking care of his family regardless of what he has to give up. I also agree that spouses who want to stay at home, but can’t, and work overtime to provide for their families are very much heroes. I am so sorry for all of your struggles, I’m sending you lots of love and prayers. I too have needed help due to health reasons, and only having a family that consists of a couple people, who werent able to help, and in my situation, my husband was an alcoholic, and was not in anyway supportive, and wouldn’t have stayed home to be there for me and our kids even if we won the lottery and he never had to go back to work. My point was that, like your husband, Evan’s heart and his desire is to be home with Carlin, and I believe with all of my heart that Evan would still be Evan without the finances and support; and his heart and desire would be to be home with Carlin and the kids; essentially his heart is in the right place, and it’s obvious that he loves Carlin, because he does little things like bringing her donuts, holding her hand, telling her she is beautiful when she isn’t feeling like she is, and being patient with her no matter what mood she is in.

Evan is no where near perfect; his heart is in the right place is all I meant; everyone makes mistakes, and has their issues, Lord knows I do, but in my opinion it isn’t about faults or no faults, it’s a matter of what is someone’s intentions, what motivates them, and what’s in their heart, because that’s what God looks at, is our potential, and our heart; if we were judged on our faults rather than intentions, we would all be in trouble on judgement day, or at least I know I sure would be.

When my baby was 3 yrs. old( she’s 32 now) we took her to a Sesame Street Live Show, where she met Elmo. She had the same grin on her face the whole 90 minutes we were there that Evan had while in that Tesla. I sincerely hope someday he gets one.
