And many other railroads. They're called Bombardier Coaches, which are large double decker coaches that have vertical inclines to match with the decks.
Great video! I wonder why we couldn't hear the train horn from inside the train? I watched this just because I am considering moving to Oceanside not too far from the tracks, and am concerned about the horn. I think they only blast it when going across intersections and coming into and out of the stations, though, right?
Amtrak Pacific Surfliner Runs out of rolling stock all the time because it is one of Amtrak's VERY FEW rail lines that actually turns a profit and often has trains AT or JUST below capacity. Because of this, you will see Superliner cars, and even Amtrak California Cars on their consists. This is becoming more and more common now.
@@42A7C5 I think the 2300 series are the cab cars, and the 2200 series are the old generations coaches and the 2400 series are the coaches with the smooth sides.
54:41 Sadly, that smokestack is now history

Nice video.
They use those same coaches for GO Transit in Toronto.

Yes, that's true. But you also have the Amtrak trains that do blast their horns quite a bit due to local regulations.
omg I just rode behind Coaster 2101 2 days ago!
Good job!
40:13 Three Superliners? Can I have an explanation?

Why is the train squeaking a lot??
Probably one of the old 2300 series trains. 2400s are a lot quieter.
Just standard train sounds in the US. Our rail networks are far behind Europe's
