Love both, Especially maxxecu since it's from my country. As you say the only drawback against the uaEFI is I/O You would really need go with a maxxecu sport to get somewhat even in I/O. But then the uaEFI is something amazing for the kind of money. You need somewhat more knowledge to work it but hey under 200$ you cant ask for much more than what you get. Love them both Looking forward seeing you uaEFI videos.
@@turboimport95 hardware and software is better, functionality also a lot better. Built in wbo, etb, flex fuel, egt, etc. You can download tuner studio and go through config options on both ecus.
My experience tuning speeduino has been been mostly negative but I know people out there are having good luck with them. I would like to try a drop bear but at the time I don’t have any plans to run them
I am about to run a maxecu sport on my turbo 5vz fe, was wondering what kind of issues has your friend with the turbo 5vz fe run into when making a base map, looking for some ball park number for the ignition timing just to get started. Thanks for the project updates too
I have a video where I go over all the base settings on the Maxxecu Mini you can take a look at for reference. We didn’t have any major issues other than running out of fuel injector at around 8psi of boost and the 5vz seems to be pretty knock sensitive and doesn’t want a lot of ignition advance under 2500rpm and lower boost on pump gas. The base map had 21 or 22 degrees of advance at 100kpa and 14deg at 200kpa as a safe start
Love your 5vzfe videos keep them coming. Thank you!
Thank you 🙏 I’m glad there are lots of cool projects going on for the 5vz community

Thanks for watching! The maxxecu has been awesome 👏
I hope you do a speeduino vs rusefi comparison, since they both use tuner studio. would be nice to see the pros and cons of each.
rusefi is way ahead. megasquirt, vems, etc, etc use tuner studio.
@@kaplis117 they are both budget, but what makes it so far ahead?

@@TurbineResearch I looked into the rusefi and it seems more refined/polished. The speeduino looks more rough around the edges etc.

Thanks for the info, gives me a good reference point.@TurbineResearch
Would you ever sell this as a full setup?
No plans to make any but i gave all the info to show others how to make them
