WIRRAL WAY NEW ENTRANCE HOOTON

Wirral way is the old railway between Hoton and West Kirby converted to a walking and cycle route, recently 2025, a new slope has been put into the route from Hooton Station still steep for wheelchairs, but a lot better,drainage has slightly been improved but not great, the path has been widened as well, Hadlow rd station has been preserved, the route continues onwards to West Kirby

No way I’d get the tandem round that hairpin and I think the average leisure cyclist would struggle to get a solo round it going uphill without getting off and pushing

There is another entrance from the new housing estate all on the flat, but youd have to find it first from there, best to go down wirral way and back to the station, a certain resident stopped me and questioned me a few months ago why i was cycling round her estate though

It's a lot easier than it was previously, if only as the surface is smooth & well defined.

@@MrOvershoot Its just loose gravel and already flooding, to make wet spots , but reasonably wide now and more people on it.
