- - I hope you enjoy my how to stop under eye concealer creasing mature skin! This is such a highly requested video so I used my mom as my model! This is perfect if you get under eye creasing with concealer and want to know how to avoid it.
In this video I'll show you how to apply your concealer and foundation and also set it so that it doesn't crease in the day and also explain to you why the creases show up. This is a step by step video and easy to understand.

Thank you for an incredible tutorial! I'd learned to let my concealer dry down some before I applied powder and to tap it down again before setting just playing with makeup on my own. This tutorial solidified that lesson.
For those asking for how long to wait, what I've learned is to do my makeup in a particular order so each area can absorb product while I work on another area. For instance, I put on my eye cream then do my brows. Then I put on my face primer. While that sinks in, I do my eyeshadow. Then I do my base, concealer, eyeliner, mascara and/ or false lashes and then set my concealer. That way, I'm not waiting for anything. I guess it all depends on how you do your makeup and the amount of time you can devote to it. You can always do your hair or get dressed while letting things set, too.

Does setting powders flake on the brows after doing brows? I guess I could just use a soft brush and sweep the brows afterward.

I have just recently come across your TH-cam and I'm so happy I have, you’ve been so helpful to me, I’m so new to doing make up, I’ve never been good at it, can you tell me how much lighter the concealer should be on the eye area than our skin and or foundation when doing this technique on mature skin? I enjoy all your videos. I am 70 and do have problems with make up settings into the crease especially around my mouth. And my chin. Can you do a video on what to do that the fine lines and dimples on the chin would show up too much

I have mature under eyes and setting them has not been an option for me because they get cakey and gray. I have used every powder from Laura Mercier, Pat McGrath to NYX, E.L.F. etc. and I can’t seem to get any powder to not change on me.. Hi Nina, love your videos that I found recently! I am almost 50 and find my skin gets awfully dry (I do live in the South Island of NZ though and it's cold here often) Even when I use my Shiseido Future Solutions eye cream before applying concealer it just goes all horrible and patchy on my skin (although I have been using a Shiseido stick concealer which may be too drying, but will now get either this Hourglass one (or the Tarte one??) after seeing this). I will buy this Ole Henrikson gel cream for before concealer too. Also, what face moisturiser does your Mum have on/use? Her skin is so lovely and dewy, mine never looks like that so I'm not sure Shiseido works the best for my mature skin...thanks for the great videos, Sarah in Chch

Is it essential to use a brush when applying the setting powder? Could you still use a setting sponge?
I have oily skin and for everyday look I use pressed powder foundation and loose powder concealer. What do you recommend to keep from creasing? Thank you
Fantastic 😊 That setting powder would dry the under eye skin? I am 35 y.o. But my skin there is really thin and dry and conceal is a nightmare (plus I have purple circles 🙃😆) between correct that purple, hydrate, set and do not get rid of conceal in one hour 🤯 I am searching for the perfect concealer and setting powder (and using an under eye cream that works better for me at the moment from all I’ve tried)
