I agree completely. We’re shown so much now (with filters, lighting, injections etc) that is supposed to be “natural beauty” but it’s just the opposite of natural. We see a ‘standard’ that is unattainable for the majority of people - which can crush self esteem - especially the young girls growing up now with these lies absolutely everywhere they look.
Wish you were closer my injector keeps doing the lip line! My natural lips were full in the center so not what I should have done. If I know this why doesn’t she!?
Thank you for being so transparent! I am 58 and started Botox at 32. I have the same dermatologist since day one. His motto: « if someone ever ask you the name of your injector it means I am not doing a good job at keeping you looking natural. ». Thank you so much for your videos❣️. You are absolutely gorgeous!!!
I understand what you mean, but from my own experience no matter how "natural" it looks , I can see when somebody had something done,. The more mature the easier we can notice. Something about body language and overall look that's a tell-tale about something is not agreeing in the overall look. That being said it doesn't mean that we should not improve your look if it bothers us, but I don't believe that cover up our age necessarily. @@DreyaLynx I totally agree with you. The idea is not to fight aging because it is a long lost battle😅. Aging gracefully is best because it definitely shows when someone refuses to age and they still look their age but weird looking ❣️

I'm always telling those folk who are unhappy with their looks or worry about ageing how incredibly fortunate they are to have strong jaws and high cheeks. I’m over 50 and had filler injected into my nasolabial folds, but it caused that part of my face to sag, making me look older. Despite attempts to dissolve the filler, the result still isn’t good, and I have a lump under my skin. The person who injected me was a trained RN with over 10 years of experience in fillers and Botox. I recently watched a plastic surgeon who explained that this can happen. He said fillers can weigh the face down and he was right. I will never get fillers again! It has worsened the appearance of my face.
Thank you for sharing this info. IMO, people use fillers much too freely and without regard for the possible side effects or issues that may occur. People (generally speaking) should really educate themselves on the risks involved with anything they inject into their bodies. I’m sorry that happened to you, and I hope you’re able to find a solution.
Sorry to hear of ur adverse effect. I too had a terrible result from getting a fraxel laser treatment for two small sized sun spots on my cheeks. After fraxel I now have large hyperpigmentation spots on both sides of my face!!! I’ve never had issues with the sun or melasma from pregnancy but this treatment ruined my face!! I’ve tinted my car windows, black out curtains at home, wear a large brim hat everyday while outdoors and layer sunblock creams several times a day. I’ve managed to diminish the hyp. quite a bit, but It’s a daily battle well, more like a lifestyle!! Lesson learned. I don’t think I’d ever do ANY of these treatments. Too scared!!
Wonderful and informative. I am 71 and had my first facelift at 58. I resisted botox for 12 years😅. After my second facelift two years ago (yes, they don’t last forever) I agreed to botox in my forehead and never looked back. Anyone who is wavering should consider it. Even at my age, those forehead wrinkles are gone when my forehead muscles are relaxed and the botox is wearing off. It takes a skilled village and a line item in my budget to look refreshed! The bonus of all of this is no one asks “are you ok? You look so tired” anymore. ❤
May I ask how long the Botox lasts approximately? I just turned 61. I’ve never had anything done. However, I’m getting two forehead lines so I’m hoping it’s not too late. After a while, skincare just doesn’t work. Plus, I have such sensitive skin I can’t use Retinoids. Thank you so much.🙌🙌🙌
@@heathergasol569some suggest every 4 months but it depends on your muscles. Once you see the lines coming back or notice more movement then it is time
I'm getting botox for the first time tomorrow. I've done so much research. But this video is so informative and my anxieties are much less now. Thank you!
I’m 74 and have had a brow lift at 50 and a facelift at 60. Have had three laser procedures also at 50, 60 and 70. So at my age, I’m just through with surgery. But I started getting Botox around 6 years ago and it’s the best! I love my Botox. I have an injured lower lip also and had filler a couple of times, but now I just need the Botox in my chin to even it out. I also find the lack of symmetry really is what bugs me and Botox is so great for that! Your video on this was really good!!!
Thanks for sharing. Would you have done your face-lift sooner or was the brow lift enough to hold you over? Did you have jowling/under chin fay that made you want the face lift? I'm 35 but a face-lift is something I will have to start saving for now if I want it at 50. So I've been doing a lot of research and opened a high yield savings account. Baring any crazy emergencies that cannot be covered otherwise, I should have enough by 45(as I'm assuming $50k for facelift w/the research I've been doing but will keep checking and changing my goal as needed).
I've never commented on social media before but this was so amazing. Love the explanation of balance / symmetry. You are gorgeous and I'm happy you're doing procedures that make you feel more beautiful to yourself. Great video ♥️
Wow! I was cynical going into this. You are so very knowledgeable and know how to communicate that knowledge. Also, you are a true master/artist at what you do.
Thank you for the information, delivered honestly and bravely! I have been using Botox for 20 years between the brows and just added my chin and upper lip and wow, that little bit added such a nice subtle change. Love getting the comments of”don’t know what you’re doing but you look great!” Side note, hair looks amazing, warmer color looks fantastic!
Dearest Sam, you have taught me so much and I am forever grateful. This video makes me love you all the more. Your candor is refreshing and will no doubt boost the confidence of women who are bombarded with images of "picture perfect/airbrushed" standards that are impossible to achieve without some smoke & mirrors (botox, self-tanner, and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder LOL). I'm 62 and have been blessed with great skin and hair most of my life. I am now on an intensive skin and healthcare journey as a mature "novice," learning how to deal with my postmenopausal skin and body. I've recently dealt with Perioral dermatitis and some other specific things which first brought me to your channel, and your advice has been extremely helpful. Grrrrrrl, you da bomb- GORGEOUS inside and out!! I feel as beautiful now as I ever have, and you contributed to my current sense of well-being. Thanks!!
Nothing is better than an honest Dr. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with you having this done. My goodness, you’re the Dr. and who wants to go to one that first isn’t honest and second one that doesn’t care just do what the patient wants and get them out of here. Sadly there are Dr’s who do this. I worked for a urologist for many years and sadly he would get patients who went to a non specialist to have various surgeries done like a hernia and he would have to go back in and fix the problem. He was the absolute best doctor and I’m not just saying that, he really was. He was so busy because he was such a great doctor and person. I have to say that you have the most Beautiful skin and I’m going to look through your videos because I’m sure you have some where you talk about your skincare products and routine. This was such a great tutorial and I appreciate your honesty. I know I wouldn’t hesitate to have you as my doctor if I lived in California. ❤
I looked at my derm’s face, to see what her aesthetic philosophy was. It was subtle and she spoke openly about what she did for her own face and demonstrated where she’d left some movement, so that she didn’t look expressionless, when telling patients about there skin cancer diagnosis. She is 50.
Oh yes, please. Im 43now, overall look much younger than i am but apparently i see my face sagging little by little. Many cosmetic derm. said that ONLY thing helps is the FaceLift but right now im really not interested major surgery.
..the people I know with heavier faces aka jowls aka saggers have only been helped by facelifts. And after a few years, they actually want to have another. I’m a 75 yo sinker..bony face, hollow under eye. I’ve gotten a little botox for years!
I started getting Botox and filler at 47. Really just to correct asymmetry and a heavy brow that stands out on camera/Zoom. I’ve been happy with the results and no one but me knows. I look like myself, but rested. An interesting tip my injector pointed out is that for people who don’t others to know they have had injections, she goes very light on crows feet, in general, because it’s one area that can “give it away” if someone has Botox since once most people are in their 50’s they have some crows feet, no matter what. I took pictures of myself as a teenager to my consultation and the injector said that was helpful.
I always look like I’m frowning. I had no clue Botox could help with it. I’m gonna give it a shot. People always think I’m mad but it’s just my resting face position. Thank you 🙂
Thank you so much for this video! It is definitely one of the most comprehensive and candid talks about injections that I have seen on TH-cam. I will definitely be referencing back to this video to hopefully make more informed decisions about my cosmetic injections!
You're the best Dr. Ellis for showing this so detailed and thoroughly. I'm 32 years old and while I have a skincare regimen incorporating retinol and sunscreen, I still have signs of aging and have started researching injections. I'm also getting married in 8 months and really want a refreshed youthful face. This was so informative
@@Marta_is_here Wow what a eureka moment you have given me. I would have never known. Yawn. Anyway my goal is to slow it down or mask it as long as I can.
Be careful with retinol, companies don't tell you because they make a lot of money, but retinol can melt fat in some cases making people look older. I was one of them, but only used it for 2 months or so.
One of your best videos yet!! I literally had my first round of Sculptra this morning at 60 yoa. I was a nervous wreck, but my injector was fantastic! She put numbing cream first, then used lidocaine with the Sculptra product and I had very minimal discomfort and I'm a wimp! Im scheduled for round two in 7 weeks and now I'm not nervous for it. She used a canula for the Sculptra. She used two vials today, but may only need one the next time. I'm having one or two more treatments, depending on the look I'm going for. I just want to naturally look my best and I hope this will achieve my goals without a facelift. Once the Sculptra is completed, we'll discuss very little filler in my nasolabial folds and some minimal lip filler to smooth out my lips and lines. I'll then get my Sculpta maintenace once a year, and of course continue Dysport a couple times a year. Any other mature ladies have success with Sculptra? Wish I was more educated and had the money to do this stuff at a younger age. Thanks Dr. Sam!
I'm just a few years younger than you, and I love Sculptra! I started with 2 vials last November and then had two more appointments (spaced out about 8 weeks apart) of 2 vials each. I was concerned about marionette and nasiolabial folds as well as some hereditary jowls that were starting to form. My injector (I see a PA) said replacing volume had to start at my temples and then go across my cheeks, which would then provide lift to help alleviate those issues. And it's worked! Even now, quite a few months after my last appointment, I still feel like my face is lifting ever so slightly and my jowls are continuing to dissipate. And the added volume is very subtle and doesn't look like something foreign in my face -- because it's not, as it's my own body's collagen. I will follow my PA's recommendations for Sculptra maintenance, which will likely be a vial or so every year. I still love me some Botox, but my Sculptra results have just blown me away.
I never thought about or ever plan to get botox/fillers. However, if I ever change my mind later on, I am booking an appointment with your Dr. Ellis. I never heard of Sculptra, I will research more about it. You did a beautiful job!
Came here from a James Welsh video who loves your Prequel line. Wow, I’m so impressed, thank you for sharing this. It’s really helpful and you look amazing.
This was so good. I have been getting Botox in my forehead since 40 and never thought to ask for it in my lower face and will now. I also like your advice to go slow with fillers and not often. I see so many staff members at these clinics that stop looking “natural” from too much filler imo. I can’t help but judge a clinic by how their staff look. An over filled face scares me and makes me think that’s their standard for product use. It’s probably personal preference but still something I’m wary of.
Wow, do I wish I could find an injector as thoughtful as you. I’ve gone to so many and I have two people that I really like, but this level of detail and knowledge of facial musculature is next level. Thank you for sharing.
Dr Sam, this is medical information that the public needs to know. I appreciate you for taking the time to walk us through this, and I believe every doctor should be doing the same. Thank you for sharing your personal experience with us. ❤❤❤
Thank you for being transparent and vulnerable enough to share this. I’ve had so many questions but didn’t know who to ask. You’ve really helped give me the answers I was looking for and more questions to ask!
One more comment- I've had botox twice in the past 18 months. I believe the benefits lasted a year on me, before I considered doing it again. I suspect the longevity was, in part , due to the botox helping me break certain habits of raising my eyebrows excessively and squinting. It did not make me lose my expressiveness. It did help me learn to relax certain muscles. Also, I am a "sinker" as well, and an area of obvious sinking on me was my temples. I had sculptra injected into temples and it gave my entire face a younger appearance. I was surprised at what a difference it made.
Wow. Thank you for your transparency and being so vulnerable. I learned more from this video than hours of collective other channels. I appreciate your candor and expertise.
I am so happy to hear all of this information. I think you have always been very pretty and I think you are the best. I am 60 years old and never have gotten Botox because I didn’t know anything about this part of it. Thank you so much for explaining and your honesty. I have been watching your channel since the beginning. ❤❤❤❤
I am heading into a injectables consultation with a new injector today. This couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you so much! The transparency and the education behind where and why is so important.
This was such a great video. I've been on the fence about getting Botox for a while. I would love a follow up video where you discuss cost, how painful is it, possible side effects and what can you expect to look like right after and for how long (bruising, etc).
Thank you and please don’t hesitate to share videos such as these. I can’t afford these treatments and I’d wonder if they could be done on me because of my scars. They are very old as I was 17 when I got them but they’re extremely deep, as in half my face was hanging on by just a little bit of skin. My nerves obviously are completely messed up, so I don’t think it could be done. But just because I can’t afford it, doesn’t mean I’m not interested to know about it and be informed, especially as I have adult daughters, it helps me understand what they may want to have done and the safety of it. Never be worried to help people with your knowledge and education, it’s invaluable for many ❤
Dr. Ellis, you are the coolest. I love how you're demistifying and educating. I've had some prejudiced views about plastic surgery and fillers/botox but I can't help but admire your sincere, scientistic and gently humorous approach. ❤
Thank you. I feel so much more educated on this process. I now feel like I can have better communication with my Dermatologist about my future injections.
This was so informative! I’ve had 2 bad experiences with Botox… (Both times, it smoothed my forehead lines, but made my brow heavy. My eyelids were wrinkly and my eyes appeared visibly smaller.) Your video makes me think that a more skilled injector might be able to give me the results I’m hoping for! Thanks for sharing! ✨
As a registered nurse injector I was so excited to hear your input and learn where you've had your injections! You look amazing and I totally agree with your philosophy. I always tell my patients that the best injectable is undetectable. There are so many beautiful and natural-looking people with filler but you'd never know- unfortunately we only detect filler in those who are overdone.
Great video! I’m glad I came across ur channel. I think saying how much u put in is so helpful for people who have never gotten these procedures before, it’s so hard to know how much is the right amount versus too much!
Thank you for this. I have an appointment next week with a new injector and I needed to be able to verbalize what I want and don’t want. This video helped a lot.
I enjoy seeing REAL faces, faces that tell stories, beautiful faces of all ages, because there are many flavors of beauty - and the most precious one is that which comes from inside and cannot be injected ❤️
This may be TMI but I also have injury on my lower right mouth/chin area due to multiple surgeries, which has made my smile slightly asymmetrical. And I always felt embarrassed in bringing up my concerns to my injector because I would sound silly honing in on such little details of my face, but this helped me feel more confident in discussing small details like this with my injector so thank you so much!! 🤍
Gorgeous and elegant! Wow I could never tell that you even get anything done. Looks absolutely natural and stunning. You’ve obviously always been beautiful, but congrats on the flawless work and class. Hard to find such Doctors now a days. Everyone is looking stupid and ratchet with gigantic lips. Thank you for the great content and quality information
New subscriber! Thank you for being transparent. I have not used any injectables or Botox, but I am considering it since I am turning 45. I am starting to notice changes on my face, the common areas that you have mentioned. ❤
This is an incredible video! Such valuable information. Very generous of you! ❤❤ I love Botox and get it in virtually all the areas you mentioned. Such a help to me. Filler in my temples was also a help. To find a great injector I agree that you need to ask family and friends - also coworkers if you feel comfortable. Can ask your dental hygienist and hairdresser as well - they see people up close and take notice. I also asked my general practitioner since she’s a great resource.
Thank you for being so transparent! I wish I lived closer to your practice because I totally agree with your philosophy and understanding of the face. I never realized you could use botox for face shaping, I thought it was only for wrinkles. I need someone that understands the face as well as you!!!
This was so interesting to watch, thank you! I think I get about the same areas done every 6 months or so with jeaveau. I'm very happy with the results it gives me. I've also done my masseter and it made my cheeks a wee bit deflated. People kept asking me if I lost weight because of that which I didn't lol. You look amazing!
I did the sculptra ones below my cheeks because I lost a lot of weight for my wedding, and the pain of the needle going through and under the skin was the worst of my life. Even with local anaesthetic! Worse than a nipple piercing. 0/10 recommend. Won't ever do it again. How that gets administered is so radically different in pain levels compared to botox feeling like a second-long pinch. Thanks for the video, love your content!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I've just started my injectable journey and have an amazing injector nurse. She is a "less is more" gal and I love her for it. This has given me some ideas to chat with her about so thanks so much for the guidance! 💗
I agree…thank you for being so honest and open about your injections. I’m ready to start getting them myself so this video has really helped me decide what and how to do it. Also, I feel armed with important information that I need to be aware of when choosing a doctor. I wish you were closer to me.
Very, very interesting. I didn’t realize how much could be done with Botox to beautify, and not just relax the skin. I learned a lot today, thanks! It was very good of you to make this video and educate us, even though you know you’re going to get flack from many people.
Thank you for doing this video. Please don’t let any negative comments prevent you for going into such topics in detail. Because those of us here to learn appreciate the deep dives. Also, could you please do a video in what type of zinc to take, when and how for extending Botox results. That Short on this was such a teaser. It sent me down the rabbit hole and I tested it prior to my injections. But curious if I did it right. 😘
Thank you. So helpful! I' ve been watching your videos for a few months now and for me personally they are the best skincare / cosmetic procedure content. I find you very trustworthy. Greetings from Germany!

Fascinating and honest! Thank you so much for sharing this inside look into how you stay looking so amazing. I honestly had no clue about all of the types of fillers and Botox that are available.
thank you for this very informative video. I am a 70 year old cardiologist who has been injecting myself conservatively with Botox for the last 20 years. Your advice is excellent and this video is helpful. i now would like to inject a little more aggressively as obviously I am aging
Thanks for sharing. I'm often confused by the way many celebrities look these days, and your video has helped me better understand what I'm looking at and why. Botox, etc. is not for me and I have never tried it, and after learning about the complexities of these kinds of procedures, I know that I'm making the right choice for me. 🤩
I would have never guessed that you had Botox you do a beautiful job. Thank you for your honesty I am going to get Botox for the first time in my 11 lines between my eyebrows next weekend. I’m excited and nervous. Also thank you for your FABULOUS skincare line I use the cleanser and ceramide cream everyday. ❤
I'm an injector and I could not agree more with everything you said! Facial balancing is everything. Love this video, very well spoken. Also you are absolutely gorgeous and have such unique features
Thank you. I had done botox 2 years ago before my wedding and my 11 lines are non existant... even though they were so bad at that time. My injector was afraid to inject into my forehead for the droopy issue when i was looking to lift the eye. So i really need to find a great injector. It was also very expensive. I think i paid 1500$ and didn't get half of what you just laid out.
Love this video…extremely informative and helpful. Finding an injector who I trust is what’s holding me back from getting fillers. I wish you were in Australia Dr. Sam Ellis!
This video is perfect. I love it. I’m a medical doctor from Iran and recently I started getting into the Aesthetic field. And I always think about what I can do with my face. I just have a question and that is “Do you inject on yourself? Or sb else does do it for you?”
Thank you for this absolutely invaluable information. I totally agree with your rationale, and the advice you have provided is second to none. There is nothing worse, in my opinion, where someone has had either botox or fillers but used so much and not always in the right placement for their face, it really does look unnatural and even scary. Looking at your face, I would never have guessed that you'd had any work done because it's been so subtle, and I believe that is key. Thank you for sharing not only something personal but also providing invaluable advice. ❤
THANK YOU for this transparency. I'm so tired of derms who clearly get injections NOT talking about this. THANK YOU!
AND use filters on top of that! Like why should I trust you if you’re clearly lying??!
Or just saying they do the smallest amount of Botox in between their eyebrows and that’s it lol.

Finding the right injector isn’t easy. Most people don’t disclose the work they’ve had done. Thanks so much for this honest and informative video!!
I appreciate the transparency even as someone who isn't thinking about getting botox just yet
yes ,I agree I am tired of people asking me are you ok?
May I ask how long the Botox lasts approximately? I just turned 61. I’ve never had anything done. However, I’m getting two forehead lines so I’m hoping it’s not too late. After a while, skincare just doesn’t work. Plus, I have such sensitive skin I can’t use Retinoids. Thank you so much.🙌🙌🙌
@heathergasol569 Generally speaking tox lasts between 3 & 4 months.
Yes, or my kids asking “what’s wrong?” Nothing’s wrong, this is just my face!
What type of brow lift did u have and how did you feel it turned out and what was the recovery like
Thanks for sharing.
I love and respect you so much for being so honest, transparent and educational.
Thanks!!
Authenticity is what matters and 60 sec in, you exude authenticity. Thanks for sharing. ❤
Nothing more authentic than 50+ injections.
This is incredibly big of you Dr. Sam. Massive respect for you for this transparency. 🙌 Thank you. Also, you are beautiful. ❤
You have no idea how helpful you been to me... and for your honesty and all the information shared! I learned a lot!
I looked at my derm’s face, to see what her aesthetic philosophy was. It was subtle and she spoke openly about what she did for her own face and demonstrated where she’d left some movement, so that she didn’t look expressionless, when telling patients about there skin cancer diagnosis. She is 50.
I absolutely love this level of honesty. It brings reality to what so many people try to fix solely through skincare
Thank you so much. You have no idea how grateful I am for your honesty and transparency. I was not a subscriber, I am now.
Loved this! Can you make the video for "saggers" - what to pay attention to when it comes to prevention and mitigating some of it 🥲
I second this request!!! Thank you so much for the video and all the work you do to share information!!!
Oh yes, please.
Im 43now, overall look much younger than i am but apparently i see my face sagging little by little.
Many cosmetic derm. said that ONLY thing helps is the FaceLift but right now im really not interested major surgery.
Team Gravity 1 - Wrinkles 0 here too😅.
..the people I know with heavier faces aka jowls aka saggers have only been helped by facelifts. And after a few years, they actually want to have another.
I’m a 75 yo sinker..bony face, hollow under eye. I’ve gotten a little botox for years!
Yes plz!!!
Wish every influencer disclosed all their procedures. This is fantastic!
Thank you 🙂
I also learnt a lot from this video. I had no idea you can lift your eyebrows by doing botox!
I would have some filler put into the corners of the mouth to plump it up - it lasts way longer than botox and looks great
Thank you so much for this video!
@@Marta_is_here BTW, nobody cares! ;)
Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! 🎉
@@Marta_is_herethey don’t
@@aloalo-ākala Hope I have the same positive results.
Good luck ❤
Thanks
You are hands down one of my favorite derms on the internet!!
I never thought about or ever plan to get botox/fillers. However, if I ever change my mind later on, I am booking an appointment with your Dr. Ellis. I never heard of Sculptra, I will research more about it. You did a beautiful job!
Right But I have the “cottage cheese chin”, lines 😂….
Sensational video, best I’ve ever seen on Botox and fillers, thank you for your honesty
Dr Sam, this is medical information that the public needs to know. I appreciate you for taking the time to walk us through this, and I believe every doctor should be doing the same. Thank you for sharing your personal experience with us. ❤❤❤
Thank you, that was so informative. I always get the same thing done, and now I realize I need to check out more of the menu! ❤
I’m both nosy and wanting to have a better understanding of these options. This was awesome. You are awesome. Subbed. ❤
You're lovely and beautiful
I am heading into a injectables consultation with a new injector today. This couldn’t have come at a better time. Thank you so much! The transparency and the education behind where and why is so important.
Thank you so much for being honest and transparent! You’re my favorite dermatologist on TH-cam.
This was such a great video. I've been on the fence about getting Botox for a while. I would love a follow up video where you discuss cost, how painful is it, possible side effects and what can you expect to look like right after and for how long (bruising, etc).
Yes, these are my questions too.
Never be worried to help people with your knowledge and education, it’s invaluable for many ❤
LOVED this face tour! It was so helpful and of course, I’ve always been curious as to what injections you’ve had done. Thank you Dr. Sam!
Same thing happened to me!
I actually got told this happens to those with hooded lids 😮
Dr Ellis is the perfect example of tweakments being doing properly. So, so natural looking. Had no idea she had lip filler
who knows what she looks like in person
As a registered nurse injector I was so excited to hear your input and learn where you've had your injections! You look amazing and I totally agree with your philosophy. I always tell my patients that the best injectable is undetectable. There are so many beautiful and natural-looking people with filler but you'd never know- unfortunately we only detect filler in those who are overdone.
Ugh! I think I need to find a new injector. No matter what she does, I get the brow drop. Thank you for the info and expertise!
Thank you for being so honest, vulnerable & knowledgeable ❤ Your beauty comes from the inside out & you’re just an incredible person 🫶🏻
I enjoy seeing REAL faces, faces that tell stories, beautiful faces of all ages, because there are many flavors of beauty - and the most precious one is that which comes from inside and cannot be injected ❤️
loved the physiology of this video!! Thank you for your transparency!
Great education on the use of botox and filler. I’m taking notes for my first appointment with you in a few months!
Thank you for sharing your vulnerability, honesty and wealth of knowledge with a bunch of strangers, Dr. Ellis! YOURE THE BEST!
So informative! Now wishing I lived in Northern California to have you as my dermatologist/injector!
Best video I have ever found regarding Botox and fillers. Thank you!!
Fascinating! I learned so much from this. I’m armed with knowledge now when I next go for filler & Botox. Thank you Doctor.
Well now I feel so much better about my usual units, 30-38. You look very natural and use it judiciously.
Thank you for being so transparent! I wish I lived closer to your practice because I totally agree with your philosophy and understanding of the face. I never realized you could use botox for face shaping, I thought it was only for wrinkles. I need someone that understands the face as well as you!!!
Very useful video, thanks a lot for being so transparent and pedagogical 😌
Thanks for being real! Your expertise, both professional and personal, is greatly appreciated.
This was so educational and fascinating! I don’t have the words for how much I appreciate how you approached this information. Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing this! I've just started my injectable journey and have an amazing injector nurse. She is a "less is more" gal and I love her for it. This has given me some ideas to chat with her about so thanks so much for the guidance! 💗
If we had the money for these procedures I am sure we would mostly all be having them. Vey glad you can have them.
I agree…thank you for being so honest and open about your injections. I’m ready to start getting them myself so this video has really helped me decide what and how to do it. Also, I feel armed with important information that I need to be aware of when choosing a doctor. I wish you were closer to me.
Thank you for sharing! I love that you explain your thought process of where you inject and why 😊
Thank you so much for showing us! It is very helpful and I wish more people on TH-cam offered to show because it does helps us learn more and decide what we can or would like to have as well to look and feel beautiful! ❤
I totally appreciate what you've shown/explained to us. Transparency is key, and you are obviously very good at what you do without the huge ego. You want the best for people.
This is the best video ive seen explaining botox and filler! Saving this for future reference!
This is truly the most helpful and informative video on facial aesthetics I've ever seen.
Thank you for your honesty. I really learned a little abd I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thumbs up Doc!
I'm an injector and I could not agree more with everything you said! Facial balancing is everything. Love this video, very well spoken. Also you are absolutely gorgeous and have such unique features
I love the transparency on this channel
"Its me, it's my life, whatever." Golden comment! I love it! ❤❤❤
Love this video…extremely informative and helpful. Finding an injector who I trust is what’s holding me back from getting fillers. I wish you were in Australia Dr. Sam Ellis!
Brava! Your transparency is to be applauded, new subscriber.
This video is perfect. I love it. I’m a medical doctor from Iran and recently I started getting into the Aesthetic field. And I always think about what I can do with my face. I just have a question and that is “Do you inject on yourself? Or sb else does do it for you?”
My question is if I can inject myself or if I should reach out to a colleague.
