I love that you are using your interpretations based on what YOU are comfortable in and what WE all have in our closets. AND no, we don't all live on the runway THANK GOD... I would be ostracized most days....work from home LOL.... BUT when and if I am able to get out during this pandemic... I do love to still look stylish and flex with what works for me. i am an 80's girl and 55 isn't always easy on us 80's girls that still want to look and stay stylish. Great video!

Yes, I love love love how you encourage creativity instead of consumption in your videos. Your messages in these last two videos have made me feel good. I want to continue getting ideas without being made to feel like I'm lacking in my wardrobe and need to buy something new alll the time. I don't feel the impulse to shop when I watch your videos, and I really appreciate your thoughtfulness, intentionality and creativity. 🙏

Thanks Amelia! This is what we do in the live Shop Your Closet events:) Everyone who buys a ticket gets the inspiration looks in advance of the event so they can interpret it at home, then all of the submitted looks are shared the day of the event. It's the most inspiring part! :)

I’m enjoying your fashion videos so much. Shopping my closet is something I did for my many years of working and have settled into a ‘ho hum’ way of dressing after retirement. Enough! I love, love, love that last outfit! The oversized sweater, shorter jean jacket, with the slimming pants, that oversized coat in the contrasting color, and that super fun slouchy bag! Did I mention that I love that last outfit.....!

Lovely! At the beginning of the pandemic, I cleared out a lot of old clothes for charity, then started combining the rest in ways I hadn’t before. It’s amazing how many new outfits you can have, and also combine unusual colour and texture combos too.

I love how easy you explain looks and apparel statements, it would be very challenging for me if I tried doing it. The 2nd look is conservative, but at the same time soooo sexy! I love the transparency of the skirt, I would wear that on a cold date night.

I would’ve worn the first outfit with a trench instead of a wool coat, but I like the coloring and the brown loafers. I also liked the very last look and the adjustments you made. It really came out great.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!!! Frumpy Mom here....trying to up her clothing/fashion game. All three of these outfits I have stuff in my wardrobe that can make this happen. I have two pairs of lovely leather pants I have yet to wear....( a sale I felt I shouldn't pass up) didn't want to l look slutty or like I was trying to look younger than I am ( 45 ). This look is doable and makes sense for my age. Thank you! :)

I liked the way you selected a look broke it down, and then proceeded to recreate it from items you already had in your closet. I am going to start collecting pictures of looks I like for this season and try to recreate them also. You made this experience so doable and one I can’t wait to do too!

I came to your channel because I like a classic look but I connected to your channel in a much deeper level! I love the creativity of finding new uses for old pieces. It’s wonderful how you take those looks and tailor them to your own style. I saved the Brunello I can’t remember the last name picture as one of my fall inspirations. It reminded me of the thirties forgotten man. A much more cleaned up version. I’m thinking the word deconstruct instead of decompose? I love your fashion styles and excellent ideas. I find adding just a few pieces to your wardrobe that goes with what you already have can make a difference. It can be shoes, accessories, purses or bags etc.

Absolutely love how you bring up with your first outfit that you have to go with real life. I live in California and it’s rarely below 60 during the day and most fall outfits are too heavy so I have to interpret heavily.

Omg, I love all of these! I have often eyed up Brunello Cucinelli designs with their fabulous layering of textures. I really liked your second version of the 3rd look, very cool. I think I used to sort of take ideas that I had seen, but after watching you, I do it much more intentionally... and it is so much fun too!
