Hi dd I just want to say thanks for all your videos I'm new to the and you have given me so many tips thanks
The hornet is a tad bit under powered but i used a 17 for a while and actually shot two different turkeys and they ran off with a few feathers laying. Turkeys are tough to kill unless it’s a head shot
I agree with that, but it should crumble a Fox or raccoon
From my experience with 17hmr the bullet is very easily deflected and the heavy feathers of a turkey just deflects the bullet way to easy, but with my experience the 22hornet in real life is very similar to the .223 which is actually very capable of killing a full sized elk at close range so yeah EW needs to fix the 22H.

I have a question for you. So I was hunting whitetail in Layton lakes. There was two doe and I shot one then the other was about to run but I shot it before it could run. So I do not know where lung and heart is.

I think it’s somewhat of a shame to see such a great new map with the only spots having animals being the lakes. So many crop fields and hardwoods going to waste, it’d be cool to see one of your videos hunting the fields/woods

I really want this map, but they gotta make some tweaks. First they have to fix the gators not floating, second it does not rain this much in Mississippi. I practically lived in Mississippi the first 2 years my wife & I were together, it rains normal like any other state in the southeast. That was my biggest problem with New Zealand wayyy to much rain. Last thing, they just recycled the sound of the 243. & used it for the 22 H. That has to change, so I'm going to have to pass until they make these changes. A little disappointing, I was really rooting for EW on this one but I just can't get behind them on this one in it's current state.. But great video from you DD none the less, your still awesome as always. Take it easy bud!

Can you use the 300 on the gators?
If the 17hmr was added it be the same thing because cotw gun system just sucks, like 22 hornet is way more powerful then 17hmr but the way cotw is guns just suck unless its the 7mm, 338, 300, 303, and 30-06. The gun and class system needs a massive overhaul because irl a 22lr can easily kill a raccoon. and a 22h can drop raccoons and foxes if close enough. Also 22h does good on turkeys if you lung them.

Qhat I love the most is when you shoot them with a bow but not any bow when yoh did the long bow and recurve bow hunts I loved them but when you shoot the deer at 60+ yards it kinda euins it for me sorry bit love the vids and you are a true hunter

If I made a game like this, and somebody like DD, ronMctube ... making a promo as they doing everyday...and shoot awesome animals ... 7 Great ones with a bow,etc. .. let´s say, I changed for them their animals statisticks a bit, if you understand me..ehm. Or...Isnt it strange? Looking for Great Ones few years... and have nothing only a few diamonds.. And you are not alone in this. Sometimes, there was a time I was lucky to find Silver ones WT on my map. ...

That .22 hornet has just a tiny bit less power than a .223 in real life, so foxes, coyotes, turkeys, racoons, would all be dropping in their tracks. .22 hornet is even legal for deer in some states and has taken many whitetails over the years. Avalanche needs to worry less about fur detail and more about making guns do what guns do. Their lack of rifle penetration causes shots that would be considered fantastic in real life to not even kill trophy animals in game. Good 30-06 rounds will almost always make a complete pass through on deer even at quartering angles and destroy organs in a 5" or 6" diameter around the path of the bullet. Hydrostatic shock is a supersonic rifle rounds primary cause of damage. The developers need to watch some ballistic gel tests and see for themselves what a rifle really does.
