I bring a 16oz Collapsible cup, a small umbrella, a poncho, hand sanitizer, snacks, my vape pen & I fit it all in my Fanny pack🕺🏻because I’m that cool guy🤷🏻♂️🤣
A little pack of wipes, a blister stick/bandaids, and a mini portable fan all came in super handy last year! Plus of course leaving some extra room in my bag for merch 😉
The most important things we used at HHN last year were a combo of the Refillable cup, a portable USB fan and our cooling towels. The heat when you're waiting the line for the first house was intense but we survived it with the help of these three.
This is actually a good one here! Last year we had an issue with finding napkins at the food booths. Ended up having to use the sinks in the restrooms. But great tip here!🤘🏼
Added some of this to my checklist for packing. I already have a note on my phone for packing for my HHN weekend when it’s not until October. It’s fine 🤣
Me and my girl are going on Friday the 13th. We went last year it was really cool . I think we are gonna make this an every year thing. This one I feel like it’s gonna be one of the best ones especially because of the Last of Us.
-Instead of a bottle we take a hydration backpack (like camelbak) -we plan on taking concert earplugs this year. Those houses can be super loud sometimes. Last year we used just regular silicone ones and we were so happy we did.
This is kind of a random question, but do you guys have any tips for keeping your event map from getting super bent up over the course of the night? Mine got completely wrecked in my bag last year and I’m sad I didn’t keep it in nicer condition!
Great question but a tough answer! So Steph and I literally one night grabbed a map just for this reason, to keep. Kid you not, I held it in my hand and protected it for the time we were there! Granted, it was only 3 hours, but it could be annoying to have to do that. Another option would be to snag one at the end of the night. But they may be out of maps by then too…

Hand sanitizer is one we completely forgot about!
Extra pair of socks is such a good idea! I usually wear shoes that can handle getting wet without water seeping through.

Great note of the earplugs! The event is super loud, especially inside of the houses! Those earplugs can be a lifesaver!
