    Amazing video. Keep it up. It’s so sad that civil engineering and it’s branches are not as popular online as software or coding.
    Subscribed and I am looking forward for your next videos. Wish you luck!

    Great vid! I am starting my first internship next week in Covington LA at a civil design firm! I really liked your ideas about writing down takeaways and setting goals and will apply this to my career. Thanks for the tips!

      Best of luck! Hopefully you are staying on the north shore side and don't need to commute.

    GREAT VIDEO!!! I’m a junior studying construction science, have you worked with anyone in construction science or any advice for me?? Thanks 🙏🏽

    • @runi.fernando
      @runi.fernando  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I haven’t worked with someone specifically in construction science before. You will definitely be working on the construction side of things for sure, specifically the process of construction and how to complete it effectively on a schedule (bc timing of projects is so crucial to costs!!!). So I definitely recommend you to find a more of a field position with a construction company so you can be exposed on how they do things out in the field.

    thanks for sharing this! I’m now a freshman undergr cee student and wonder what I can do this summer to enrich my experience (besides an internship)??

    • @runi.fernando
      @runi.fernando  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Look for summer research positions at your college or at other colleges! All professors are researching something and are always looking for student workers. Start emailing professors now about summer opportunities.

    What software you learned to get internship

    • @runi.fernando
      @runi.fernando  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      none actually... I interned at an industry specific job of transmission line design so I learned PLS-CADD during my internship and they actually offered a little crash course of the software the first 2 weeks of the internship. Other than that I had a little CADD experience but definitely know how to use excel because engineers use that all the time!
