Consider keeping both styles on hand. I have a mobile repair biz and the threaded ones are rare, however have there uses. Fyi the threaded one Tecumseh 570629b with vent, the snap in with no vent Tecumseh 35769, snap in one with vent Tecumseh 570682a or mtd 951-10639a or stens 120-925. The oddball one is on briggs snowblower engines and that's where I have used the threaded Tecumseh. The briggs 793382 with the square mount.
