My plan get my license become an agent learn the industry build contacts then become a investor full time
Don't get your real estate license if you plan on becoming an investor in the future because it will limit your flexibility to where you will have to include your broker in all your business or face penalties. Just focus on investing and be your own boss. If you do become an agent first, you will have to find a third party investor to hide your deals behind when you can just start off being your own investor without the bs bro.

My dad and I own a construction company, we do everything from plumbing,electrical and home remodeling. we are about to get into investing and so far we have all the tools to begin. Valid points but being an investor you got to have some capital and some leads to be able to have the ability to flip. Lot of information missing in video because jay Morrison has capital many people don’t have. You have to hustle just as hard and as licensed agent you can become a broker there are brokers who are doing it as their own boss doing it just as big as investors. His points apply to those who have capital notice he is still licensed because he knows listings are easier to come by licensed with access to mls vs investors who don’t have those tools. Investors are good once you get the capital to do it but being licensed overall is better. That is why he still is licensed in this video
I am going to take a real estate course in my state. I don't know about getting licensed, however.

I got my real estate license years back and I think it's too late to renew it, but investing sounds great. I think being your own realtor isn't a good look though.
Is it true that as an agent you cannot benefit from the Mls listings? For example, if my husband is an investor, or flipper, is it ok for us to use info I have access to to get properties ...... Hope that was not too confusing

I'm a licensed agent and investor in Atlanta. A licensee represents buyers/sellers in transactions and receive a commission from the transaction. Investors purchase, purchase and sell, purchase and rent. There are various ways investors generate income.
