Thanks! remember to diaconnect the battery. The negative terminal. I reedited my brake change video to be a little shorter. There is a car playlist if you need any other jobs. My latest car one was cleaning the EGR valve and throttle. Clean those your car will drive like new, if you have a diesel.
Excellent & concise. I searched everywhere for this, lost where utterly useless. Well done with this one. I found the wiring can easily be removed before you jack the car up. Also a trick I used to access the clamp nut for power steering pipes: I braced on the wings/inner engine, a solid, narrow internal door, not resting on the engine itself and I could reach down into the rear easily. Obviously not feasible for everybody, but worked a treat for me without crawling around underneath. Remove egr first for easier access too. Just make sure it's braced and steady and clear of the engine
Awesome, glad the video helped, I try and film things in a way that they are super obvious of what's going on. I just changed the brakes and documented what it is I had done along with tools used etc. Thanks for taking the time to describe your method. I do have a play list for my 2009 insignia and fixing it up of it's any help to you. Thank you for liking the video if you did.
@@serenitycoastUK actually just removed mine this afternoon from the top. Just used a sturdy box well braced and leaned over engine. Used turbo heat shield to lean on as it can take weight. Also removed egr and disconnected wiring loom all way to alternator and tucked it out of way. Bit strenuous but might be useful for those who don't feel comfortable underneath. I'll definitely check out your other vids!
That's great thanks. Let me know what you would like to see. I'm a bit different from Neil's channel. Really appreciate it though thanks. I own a 40ft yacht, trying to make it as off grid as possible.
I've tried to make it as easy for people to navigate as possible. its always challenging to film in tight spaces. Thank you for liking the video and subscribing if you have. Have a nice day
Hey TCblue my belt was changed the tail end of last year when I had my MOT. So won't need to do it any time soon. My next car video will be all-around breaks change and breaks fluid. Thank you for liking, subscribing and taking the time to comment.
You are the best on youtube for explaining and creating fantastic camera angles! Please do more :)
Thank you for your kind comment, I do have a playlist for the car. I try my best thank you for liking and sharing the video if you do/have
