Thumbs up, great video. Old car angst is part and parcel of ownership of these cars, which makes it more fun to own. Congratulations 😀
I love how it has the little shifting lever, it must give the car a real go-kart feel when you’re driving it
I have two MG's , an MGA and a Midget and find them very reliable. It does not sound as though there is much wrong with it that can't be fixed quickly. There is usually a reason why someone sells a car, often a fault they can't or don't want to fix.
Great to see the car is getting sorted! It will be a beauty once it's all ironed out! 😎
They didn’t come out with a brake booster. It can be added and it will greatly improve your brakes. I would take the car to a MG specialist and give the car a good going over to see it’s potential issues. I grew up with a father who rebuilt his MGB. Wonderful cars. I learnt to drive in a MGB as an 18yr old. I helped dad work on his car.
Where u buy this and does it come in auto?
Ahh! Classic British car electronics... whoops, no - I mean electrics!
BTW check out ChrisFix' recent video on batteries, for his rundown on checking out the rest of the chargg system, in case that's actually where the fault lies!! Nice & simple too.
It's a wonderful car to work on - everything is so basic to the point of taking out the engine without needing a hoist (if you're macho!)!
I owned a new 1965 MG Midget, British racing green. Sharp little car. Would not start in damp/weather. Filled up inside with snow during a snow storm in Pennsylvania,USA.. Not a great car on high speed interstate highways. Top down was fun in good weather.
Hey Simon do you have a OnlyFans?
Nope
