Wow. I remember when Joyce's case when it was featured on Unsolved Mysteries. I'm glad it was solved. The guy got 45 years in prison. Justice served.

It wasn't the Maine State Police that cracked this case. It was her mother and a close forensic examiner who cracked it open. Her Mother tried several times to have her daughters body exhumed to have DNA removed from her fingernails. The State Police and the DA's office blocked the exhumation from happening several times. The Forensic DNA Examiner related to the State police that there is possible DNA evidence that may lead to an arrest. At this point with the persistence from both parties the State Police and the DA's Office joined in to exhume the body and remove the evidence. Way to be Mom on majorly assisting in apprehend your daughters killer not the Maine State Police. 👋👋👋👋👋👋
