My first job in New York publishing was at Doubleday where I was the editorial secretary to the Image Books editor. This was the early 80s and it was my impression at the time that the imprint was no longer receiving the support from the publisher it once had. It was at Image where I came across Dr. Bernard Nathanson's ABORTING AMERICA and almost immediately realized that I could not longer support "choice" and "reproductive health care." I did not enter the Church until the 2009 Easter Vigil Mass at the Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, Michigan where I learned of Ignatius Press and its thriving program. Thank you Father.
