We just show up 30 minutes before the parade and sit IN FRONT of those who's been saving their spots for two weeks since there's still plenty of room on the curbside where all the kids would be hanging out anyways for the candy. Happy 4th of July!
I grew up in a different state, never saw people put out chairs for parades. People walked up and found a place on the day of.... Why do people need to sit for a parade unless they have a disability?
Why do I feel like this is a much deeper, personal issue…? 🤔😅 Maybe they grew up in a big family and had to fight for what they wanted..? lol 😅🤷🏼♀️ “Calm down, Tina… there’s plenty of food for everyone.”

Happy Fourth of July OSM
Same. Not only do we sit in front of those people, but others fill in all of the empty space around them. Claiming a spot just seems pointless.
It’s ridiculous. Come when you’re willing to stay and hold he spot.
Why doesn’t the city make the parade route longer so more people can spread out farther down the street?
Murray City has a 48 hour rule where you can't set your stuff up more than 2 days before the parade, but people frequently ignore it.

Is the parade available to see on TV?
Just move their stuff
I always get the spot I want for the parade. Laying down in my bed.😜
I'm curious how many ended up in the er from the long hours in the heat
I really don't get why people reserve a spot for a parade. seems like there are far better things to do with your time and energy.
America turns 248 years old today
If someone wants a spot that bad, let them have it.
All this just to see a pretty mayor & a lot of vintage old cars ...
Hey, don’t forget the red hat Society ladies. They are worth seeing too.
