Great video, but I have to take cultural exception to labeling these mechanical marvels "Art Deco". The name came from an exhibit in Barcelona in 1925. The Chrysler Building is an Art Deco masterpiece. By the mid 1930s, the design ethic had changed to "Streamline Moderne", with the Empire State Building as an example as were these trains.

I love art deco. A beautiful train. They sure kept the joint-rail track smooth & level back then.
Art deco - love it! I would like to see it return.
I’d love to see this aesthetic return to our commuter trains today
love the design!!! ❤
0:43: That's obviously not the Mercury observation car, which had very tall rear windows.

👎 These moving neon coloured lines on the sides are very distracting❗
