That is functionality, a tourbillon is not just for show, the rotation of the carriage helps offset the effect of gravity on the watch. I mean yeah you can get more functionality like perpetual calenders, chronographs, various digital watches with loads of sensors, but a tourbillon still has functionality.

Well it depends on what you do, for example if you're a pilot it's more practical a Breitling Navitimer than a Casio. If you where to be a diver a Rolex Submariner its more practical than a Casio
