    The real comparison should have been like this
    1) 500$ watch something like a Seiko
    2) 10k watch like a Rolex or an omega
    3) 50k watch something like a Patek or AP

      $20 - Casio a158w - Easy to wear basic digital battery watch. It looks vintage and yet modern at the same time, and it has alarm and timer option.
      $$100 - G-Shock GAS100G-1A - Beat'em up watch that can take anything you can throw at it. Tough, solar powered, essentially water proof, and matches Steven's clothes in this video.
      $$$300 - Samsung Galaxy Watch - Smart watch with all the functions that you can want from a watch and then some. You can't get this much function from other traditional watches.
      Worth it winner - Casio is great for the price, but it's very limited. Galaxy Watch is great, but requires charging. GShock watch is the winner. It's can go anywhere and don't have to worry about it functioning at any point. It's the most reliable out of all the watches.

    I really like Ben as the co-host of Worth It Lifestyle. He and Steven click really well, and he's really enthusiastic about the Lifestyle videos. For example, it was so much fun to watch him on the airplanes episode. I remember Steven did another airplane episode with another girl...she just didn't have the energy that Ben had, and it wasn't as great to watch. I hope they use Ben more for Worth It episodes!

    • @Selendryle
      @Selendryle 6 ปีที่แล้ว +35

      Harshil Patel yeah only people that would care are people that do care and I bet most people don't even notice at all to care. Watches have one job, tell time, doesn't matter if they're 5$ plastic or $800k jewel covered gold and platinum.
      I just use my phone to tell me the time. Watch just gets in the way.

      kokakoliah isn’t that the case for a majority of things? You don’t a really big house. You don’t need expensive clothing. You don’t this car. You don’t need that tv. You don’t need that phone. You don’t need that computer. People are really into something and would spend x amount of money on the something they’re into

      There is a huge community of collectors and watch lover myself included. It is undescribable why we love and cherish beautifyl high end watches so much. Also any watch enthusiast wouldnt buy a watch whatever the price only so it could be noticed. A true enthusiast buys watches he enjoys and loves

    • @Selendryle
      @Selendryle 6 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Yaboigotmoney
      thet're not all quite comparable though. Different price cars/ houses/ phones/ computers etc will get you very different items with various functions and such. Usually a high price watch will only tell time, and the cheaper will have extra functions like stopwatch and calendar. But a house for example, will change drastically in relation to price- square ft/ rooms/ bathrooms/ location/ etc.

    • @jonathanfong3033
      @jonathanfong3033 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      JuztinXG the reason everyone knows those brands is because they bring the greatest value to the market. The brain watch is not the most value in the market. And independent watch could be great value, but this idea of being worth it isn’t about exploring what’s new and over priced, it’s about what at the end of the day brings the most value.

    I own a Weiss watch. They are amazing watches. Definitely worth the money for the craftsmanship.
