Hey there! Thanks for the detailed review of the Gigabyte B550M DS3H motherboard. It's great to see that it offers a good balance of performance, features, and affordability. I appreciate your thorough unboxing and overview of the motherboard's physical components. I'm particularly interested in the motherboard's compatibility with AMD Ryzen processors. It's good to know that it supports the 3rd Gen Ryzen processors, and it's promising to hear about the performance results you achieved with the Ryzen 7 Pro 4750G. However, you mentioned that it doesn't support the Ryzen 5 3400G or Ryzen 3 3200G, which is a bit disappointing for users who might have those processors. Also, the lack of M.2 heat spreaders and small heatsinks for the chipset VRM mosfets could be a concern for some users, as you pointed out. I'm guessing you have 4 sticks in it since you have 32 gigs, if you have two sticks (16 gigs each) then you should place both sticks of RAM in the black slots since they're the first channel. As for the stuttering in your games I'm not sure what can be causing that since you only list your CPU and RAM which are actually a good combination, Ryzen CPUs perform better with higher clock speed RAM. It could be that your game is on a hard disk and the game has to wait for the spinning disk to collect the data.

does this have anti surge protection?
i'm planning to upgrade from msi b450m gaming plus (max 3466mhz) to this motherboard for better ram overclocking, is it a good choice? price wise it is perfect in my place for budget upgrade
Can anybody please tell me how many pins does it have to support external fans, I plan on putting in 2 120mm 3 pin fan, please tell me if the board can support this. Thanks
Did you fix it?
Can you use this board to OC the CPU?
Yes you can… but limited OC options
Does anyone know if this is good for gamers, system builders and home theater enthusiasts?
Will gskill trident z neo 3600mhz xmp work on this board??
It should do ... I don't see a reason why it shouldn't. But please check manufacturer's QVL.
For which category of pc users is this motherboard ?
Poor users like me.
Either poor muthaphukkaz like tha one above, or newbies.
Is that Mainboard compatible with an Ryzen 5 2600?
no
Nah
Hell sir sorry to bother you I'm trying to upgrade my pc debating on getting a GIGABYTE B550M DS3H mother board so I can put a new ryzen 5500 processor in it but before I buy it I wanna make sure my 2070 gpu is compatible with it do you happen to know
Yes even my old gtx 1080 will work every generation of PCIe is backwards compatible.
I'm looking at getting this board to put my current x570 components on since I'm upgrading my cpu, ram and gpu... trying to see if this board will be worthy of the 3700x and the other stuff without breaking the bank lol
Just got mine in mail today and didn't realize it came with no standoff screws..just a heads up
is the motherboard support v2rgb or agrb
I'm considering buying this one when the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs are released.
Get the asrock pro4 it has a better vrms setup for only 10 dollars more and looks alot better
Asrock pro4 is better and only 10 bucks more
@@ayon9000 On Amazon Asrock pro4 b550 has more negative ratings than the Ds3h and costs $ 21 more.
@@gedimangediman it has a better vrms setup and it only is supposed to be 10 dollars more in retail, just prices are up rn
This 1 or b550m aorus elite?
The b550 aorus elite has a better VRM, but unless you plan to put a ryzen 9 on your mobo, go for the B550 DS3H
@@maixonmaxfull Is the b550m ds3h compatible with the r9 5950x with no bios update?
@@valid6532 it depends. If you buy them nowadays they usually already are shipped in with an updated bios, but if you are buying and older batch they might not. Always try to ask the seller if the bios is already updated.
About the motherboard itself, i've never did any research, but I'm not sure if this b550 you are referring to can handle a 9 5950x
Does it include the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chipsets?
dont think so
can i control my argb case fan with this motherboard
Can we install m.2 nvme ssd in gigabyte b550m ds3h ultra durable motherboard
Please reply🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
Yes there are 2 nvme ssd ports, one PCIe 4.0 and one PCIe 3.0.
Can i use 2 nvme m.2 ssds

no
@@alielsayd6290 are you serious?!? Please tell me your joking I bought those two parts already please tell me for the love of god. On your mom and how do you know. Please tell me the truth no bs 😔😭
@@fernyd5040 Sorry my friend, this is the truth. The motherboard does not support the processor. You must replace either of them you can use ryzen 2600x +b450 or ryzen 3600 +b550 motherboard
It won't work. B550 mobos will only support starting from ryzen 3000 series up
Make sure to only watch this if you are a gamer, system builder or home theater enthusiast
bro im just trying to find out where to plug in the power switch
Power button for the case? There should be a whole bunch of connectors coming from your case that plug into the pins in the bottom right hand corner of the motherboard. The pins and connectors are all labeled. You should be able to find comprehensive guides on TH-cam
Looking at my DS3H under the heatshield near the rear ports it says m2 Wifi on the board itself, anyone else see this? I sure could use one if it's really there. I'm unable to use PCI slot for my network adapter as my GPU is too big.
How many slots on the back of the case does your gpu take up? 3 or more, and your out of luck, but if it’s only two then ur fine. If you have a pci-e wireless network adapter that fits into a x1 slot, you can actually put it into the bottom x16 slot. It works the same, no difference.
do this motherboard have inbuild WiFi please tell ?
Does it Support the 3200g and 3400g out of the box or do i need a first or second gen ryzen for it to work
I'm afraid it does not supports 3200G & 3400G. I bought 1 & that was stated on the box
dumb question... but does this motherboard work with the corsair tx750m PSU?
Pretty much all PSUs and motherboards are compatible. As long as the PSU has a 24 pin power connector, that is what plugs into your motherboard to power it. All motherboards that I have seen have 24 pin connectors.
i have the same board sir, i woild to ask if is it aoaky put 2 ram on a2 and b2 ram slot?
Yes. It is recommended to use a2 and b2 first.
Does it need a wifi adapter?
@@plasai6882 Yes. It doesn't have on-board WiFi.
