6:00 My guess is Ivander Garius was striding across the battlefield in a purposeful, heroic manner, and then tripped over the long-dead marine and accidentally popped-off his volkites into it. Leading him to quickly try to recover/save face in front of his troops by pointing wildly in a random direction exclaiming they were under fire!
Volkite is described as literally burning flesh off your bones, so he's calling over all his sargeants and captains to come over and look saying "This is why you wear your helmets, so your face doesn't get burned off"
Interestingly, when winter comes around and that "mystery army box" comes out for the Horus Heresy, the 40K 10th Edition Codex for Adeptus Mechanicus will also come out. Could we get a double release, with all (or most) of the models usable in both games?
I'm not gonna be surprised if the knight is a market test to see if the model will sell. If it does then I can see GW doing what happened recently with all knight variants in one box.
@@cameronbarclay3597 Since it's still on the web store, I'm guessing the same thing that happened to the tombstalker happened again: the mould broke and it just hasn't been fixed, probably due to low sales.
Unless they update both together I guess? The fact it is a update rather than new rules out 2 and 5 at least for now, maybe next year they'll do 2 and 5. I guess they could do an upgrade sprue for the 3 and 4 kits perhaps somehow?
Th lad with no skin seems honestly the cooler character. That girthy Son of Horus was definitely on the lodges rugby league. Nice video. Keep up the good work.
I am so excited about this! I have wanted to add a Lancer to my Imperial Knights for a long time as I love the model but didn't want to pay FW prices nor work with big chunks of resin. :p
In reguards to the updated Mk armour and the Dreadnought , GW shown a peice of art work and basically said, "look at this for teases to what's coming new" . There was a Dreadnought that looked like a Deredeo I think, HH is not my strong point, either MKII or III aromur, again not sure but they each had a single spike out the top of the helmets, and a Land raider . So make of that what you will boss.
I love the knight, I'm a little worried about buying it and them releasing two more versions with different weapons and then releasing one version later with all the weapons in it (like they did with the Questoris)... that'll happen over years so probably not worth worrying about I suppose
Was at the reveals myself, and they flashed up a pic saying this is a hint of what "maybe" coming and it had MK3 marines and a Deredeo Pattern Dreadnought in it so, probably yes a Deredeo!
Garius is gonna follow the Fafnir Rann tradition of being an Imperial Fist character who gets converted into a Space Wolf character in most peoples' armies.
The only problem with the new plastic knoghts will be the loss of posability, but I agree that it'll be worth it to be able to get them cheaper and not deal with resin. Hope they announce the Castigator soon.
I bought a Castigator years ago and it sat in my cupboard for years until I finally built it. It was very satisfying, though slightly nerve wracking knowing that I could mess up at any point. I wasn't going to build another Cerastus due to the cost but if plastic ones are on the cards I'll get either a Lancer or an Acheron. It's clear that the Lancer came out first. It doesn't have any long ammo feeds connecting the gun and the rear ammo box so it's both more poseable and easier to build. Hopefully they can solve the problem of fuel pipes and ammo feeds needed to be bent into shape, since that won't work with the plastic GW uses.
Looking forward to them making a Plastic Knight Porphyrion in 20 years XD. Jokes aside - I'm glad they're getting plastic models, and I hope we get plastic models of all of the other knights, including the maegaera, styrix and the other Acastus models :)
Honestly, I'm really hoping with this lancer that 1) it'll be about the same price as a questoris, and 2)that like the questoris/preceptor there'll be the bits in the box to build all the variants. Will I get one if it's just the lancer? Absolutely, but I've got my fingers crossed
