That head nod when we are right, best feeling 😂
I'm fairly confident I do this all the time, but don't know for sure haha
The falcon is strong in this one
Just gonna check back Jhigh because I have showdown value haha
And was right. Legend
Sensational
Robbie says that’s an Insta call verse a River jam
Robbie had jack high with a 4 kicker though, Phil only has a 3 here
And it still wouldve been the best hand just like when Robbi did it!
I didn't see Phil vibrating in his chair though. Can't say the same about Robbie. 😂
@anythinggoes5574 Yeah that definitely never happened.
Tha Fk is Robbie
Omg this man is a machine w minimal emotion. He’s probably the most on keel elite player I’ve ever seen.
Next level sick read there Phil
Ahh man, that is such a smug look at the end.
Outstanding
The nod in the end !!!!
wild accuracy
👌👏 Phil When is the "THIS IS TEXAS HOLDEM" course comin?!
Dude, that looks just like the Stu Unger hand.
Wow
Your the best phil.
Love it!
the next level on play and explain
This gotta be a pre recording dude I don’t believe it
Amazing
GOT ME GOOD with that clickbait title. real good.
You are awsome dude ❤
Why not merge and bet anyway? Will lose to back door draws with higher high card. Yes his hand is draws or trips+. But would suck to kx hearts or qx hearts that gave up?
He stated his reasons. If villain had kx or qx of heart he wouldn't have raised the turn. I'm not saying I agree with him but according to his logic checking back was the only option.
He can still be trapping. Phil will have lots of missed fd here so quite a bit of value to checking and letting Phil buff
When you have SDV, it becomes very expensive to bluff since a % of the pot belongs to you already
what a read, Galfond is truly a goat.
That was awesome lol
That's player shit bra, you are officially the second best Phil😅😅😅
Hellmuth 🙌♥️
@@anderslearnsmusic uh no, I meant the goat
@@adamdouthy8023 exactly
Wow!
Falcon!!
Monday morning QB yourself ?
I love this,
My most memorial once in a life time all in call on the river was with 10 high and a busted flush draw at The Game in Portland when I put my opponent On 78 and a busted straight draw.
Don’t think I’ll ever be that in tune again. Love this video Phil, keep it up
Turn donks after flop calls are always just some stupid draw that picked up a little equity that for whatever reason fish think they can suddenly semibluff at instead of just calling. Very weird but see it a lot at live poker.
I defo see the logic, but he is never turning his hand into a bluff catcher on the river. He us checking to give up like 99% the time. He never has trips+ here. Ive genuinely love to hear thoughts back
Phil only has to call 130 to win ~520 here. Phil thinks that the value portion of villains range is mostly 5x hands and that all the draws are lower showdown value than J high. The main takeaway imho is that Phil thinks the players in this pool (or maybe just this player in particular) would not 3bet the turn if he had Ax of clubs or any other better club draw. So he is confident his outs are live and that when villain checks river he doesn’t need to bluff because villain would have fired a river bet with value and Phil beats all the FD give ups that villain arrived on the river with.
😳
Phil is a genius
I used to love watching him on high stakes poker
So unpredictable
Thats insane. A value check back with jack high because yiu are sure he was floating... There isnt even a term for this play. Flm
I'm pretty sure he just gave up plans to bluff the river and checked back out of defeat. Then went back and filmed the segment where he pretends to know exactly what his opponent is on. Because nobody is checking back J high on the river because "I think I'm just beating all his bluffs here." Dude could have been bluffing with Ac in his hand and taken that pot down vs J high.
I believe it is probably difficult for Villain with his line on this specific board , that nobody really crushes ( sets are absolute, top pair the realitive, nuts) , but two possible Flush draws out, to get too many folds from better hands with Ax. - More likely that he has indeed Qx.
No way Phil cares enough to do that. Guy is a millionaire from poker do you really think he’s gonna go through all that trouble to try and impress trolls like us?
Its PG we are talking about here. Also no Ace high takes this line. Def BB, XC, lead-3! Turn?!?! It was trip5 or nothing. And the only bluffs to beat J high is MAYBE QcXc. For sure it makes sense when someone explains it, none of us would realize it real time as we are not in the same stratosphere as Phil.
@@vinni522 Absolutely this. 😉
Wtf
VERY misleading title
Why is he playing 2/5
Money
Dang, that’s what Robbie was thinking… cause she wasn’t cheating after all
Wow
