@@DaveyToonmonths ago Eddie was asked IF the FA came calling …..he said he would be honoured but he has not (as far as Iam aware) said that he will take up the job in the present time which means now. Because he was asked months ago the club are aware of the situation and I am sure that they will have already asked Eddie at the time what’s it going to be otherwise it’s a waste of time for both the club and Eddie being in Germany at this present time never mind getting players in to suit HIS game . The club would have had a new manager signed up along with the recent signing of Mitchell.
Let’s not forget the questions were put to him by another club employee…… he was hardly going to get a grilling and the questions as in fans forums are vetted !
Would love us to get back into Europe for next season but what I would love from us this season is to win a trophy, my life ambition is to see Newcastle win a trophy👏🏆

If Lee Carson gets the job (and I think he probably will) then that will change, Gordon was his best player when England won the u21 euros. Carson is well aware of exactly how good he is. Think he'd be quite likely to bring Livramento into the England squad as well, and because of his background as u21 manager would be looking at younger players in general. I think Hall would be a good shout for England at LB if he has a good season this year, he looked very promising for us at the end of last season
Still very new, but a casual person like me could feel the sense how stark is the contrast between Darren Eales and our old guys in management, named Lee Charnley, Derek Llambas, etc. Like heaven and earth is the difference.

i applied for the stack and got through the application and everything got asked to come in either today or tomorrow between 11AM and 7PM but ive changed my mind about it, dont want to travel so far for a job
nice to see someone stand up for the club, very safe questions. Did Darren write them himself?. Could it not have been someone outside of the club interviewing him, Amanda and mehrdad leaving is huge will be a big miss from two giant pro-personalities. is Darren the man to replace that, not sure. Would love to have him asked why amanda left now when there is still so much work to do, but the safe questions were never going to ask that. he pretty much admits that they screwed up financially that is why the two youngsters left, how did a club with financial experts end up in that mess
